Stopping in to say hello
It has been a busy day with chores and errands.
I am grateful for the energy, because our sleep has been interrupted often with hubby's asthma the past week (though it is easing some).
We went for a walk this morning (The weather is awesome), and I may go out again for a short walk before cooking supper.
We enjoy being out, and would benefit by step by increasing our exercise a bit

The allergies/pollen are peaking; even I have had asthma flares this week.
This too shall pass; we are in God's Loving Hands

Good morning Eagles...we are having a nice, damp cloud cover this morning...yeah!!!!!

I was busy on and off yesterday...got my teeth cleaned at 4pm...what a big event. LOL

Anyway, I want to spend time with my books, Gracie's walk will be delayed...my legs are tired.

Hubby didn't have work today, and went for his blood work, so we are resting today,
after a restless night with the 2 of us wheezing and hearing each other cough

It is beautiful outside, but everything is coated in yellow pollen so maybe we will go for a stroll later today when the air clears if we feel better.

Yes we are...the pine is the worst!
I blows off the trees in clouds at times when at peak, and coats everything!
We must rinse the cars off when we go out, and keep the windows mostly closed.
When I have been very ill I have used air cleaners as well.
We restrict our walks to early AM/late PM; warm, dry breezy days are the worst.
But it will be over in a week or so, and rains clear the air too

Well...it is good to hear this is not a year round condition...I have heard the pines are very bad for allergies...it was a surprise to me.

My hubby just called me...we have learned his brother was found....dead...this morning in his home. He would have been 66 next month. It sort of is a shock and not...his heath was in bad shape for a long time. Makes me think so much of our youth, when everyone was alive...he was a Vietnam veteran.

I just wish we had been able to really be a family...it just didn't happen for us, that is the true tradgedy. I don't know if he had a saving knowledge of Jesus...it did not seem like it in the way he lived his life. Maybe the Lord will use this to speak to the remaining family members and soften our hearts towards God and each other.

Such losses leave empty spaces, which may be eased with time, but will never be filled again in the same way. May God especially be with your husband in this time of mourning!

Our youngest grandaughter, Jessica (age 11), just finished her school term for the summer, so she's come to visit us for a week. I got up early to weed the garden this morning while it was still cool and before long she was out there helping. It is bound to be a very good week.

Thank you both...this hit me harder than I expected...maybe because this is our generation...the family is trying to bring some comfort to each member, that is good.
