i put the work down and took a walk... then I hung the netting over my blackberries... is there a wrong way?... lol...

The 'thing' about this is
that I cannot detect the 3 years old, closed holes
of the laparoscopy version on the other side

Why ? make this mess at-all
~Longer healing time / more risk of infection
It seems the surgeon, is at liberty to choose his own preferred procedure
or, hasn't had sufficient training in the more modern techniques

No matter, all is 'well', that ends well
whatever the road travelled

Maybe your condition required a larger incision this time...maybe since you had to wait so much longer for attention...anyway...there does not seem to be any sign of infection. Going without a bath is hard...yuck, but you are close to the end of the with the babying of your surgery sight.

Hugs for Connie and Gail...I took Gracie to a park and we walked longer there than usual. The day is overcast, with a cool mist...so nice to be outside. Then I spent about 2 hours on the phone with my dearest friend...we had a great chat.

I think hubby is brining home something light for our dinner...I cooked last night, but boy am I tired of my regular menu...will need to do some searching online for new ideas.

I did do the treadmill and exercises when Penny was gone

Looking forward to relaxing, and watching tv with hubby tonight

We are getting a light rain here...what a joy, although it is too wet to take Gracie out...I need to rest my legs anyway. Think I will go by car and get some groceries.

I did this edit a while back, some of you may have already seen it...the fog was up near Solvang at Christmas time one year.

thanks... I think i will look into framing them next year... now it seems to be too late unless I want to spend a lot of time trying not to ruin the berries that are already there. I'm going with what I did for now and then next year I may try a frame... for now I think i'm gonna go find a nice park or lake to walk around. I don't want to work anymore today and I don't want to clean house. I think a mini 3 or 4 hour vaca is in order it's breezy today and a little warm.

We also had drizzle today, so I gor my errands done after our walk early this AM.
After lunch I did chores and settled into prayer time, and did my exercises.
It was a good day ~ I am tired now

Dave had a good idea on the netting; we just throw ours over the bushes (when used) because they are so scattered over the property.

Very nice graphics and pictures! I enjoyed them.

This has been my week for doctors, new prescriptions, new glasses, and finding out about minor surgeries on my wrists (carpel tunnel). I don't know when yet, but there will be a down time of healing one at a time for both wrists. This is something I have been putting off, and it's past time to get the work done. I'm now looking forward to getting this done because both wrists have really been bothering me and even getting me up in the night. Please - I'm not complaining, rather I give thanks that things will be fixed.

I have-to wait until October for my new glasses [free prescription]
Rusty chewed on mine 18 months or so ago, while I was taking a nap
He took the plastic covers off the ear hooks
and one of the nose pliers between the lenses

Teddy broke a lens on the previous pair....
What is the matter with them ? Have they no-respect for 'property' LOL

Yes, it is good, to set some of our cross 'to-rights'
I don't seem to care that it took four months to have my hernia repaired this-time
It is DONE-NOW It is history as they say
Even the longer healing-time of the method used, is not a drawback

Good day all

I had another busy morning getting a minestrone soup for supper going in the pot , sorted through my spring/summer clothes, and did bills.
I also prepared for a bridal shower on Sunday (wrapped the gift and ironed my outfit); my nephew is getting married in June.

Now I am relaxing ~ it is damp and dreary outside; a good day to cozy up to the wood stove and read

Hi everyone...we are having a cloud covered day again...I did take Gracie out early for a walk...used my umbrella. She got wet, but it was not too bad... not soaked thru to the skin. Then I was on the phone again for a couple hours with my friend Phyllis...that was a short call...LOL.

Now I cannot seem to get a focus on anything...think I will listen to a teaching online and maybe get a nap.

Thanks Dave, I did have a nap...my brain feels a lot better..

The street is drying out and we have a bit of sun shining. Here is a pretty white bird, it lives at the Santa Barbara zoo...got the photo a couple years ago.
