Nice pic

We also had drizzle today, so I gor my errands done after our walk early this AM.
After lunch I did chores and settled into prayer time, and did my exercises.
It was a good day ~ I am tired now :p

Dave had a good idea on the netting; we just throw ours over the bushes (when used) because they are so scattered over the property.

I hope you had a lovely time to relax Connie

Be blessed everyone

Thanks for the warm wishes...

We're taking my 91 year old mother out to eat this evening. She talks a mile a minute and we're looking forward to a good time.

It's Friday and the work day will soon be over. Everyone have a great weekend.

I took Gracie to a park today, we stayed about 1 1/2 hours...I had my camera so we did a lot of stopping, also ran into a lady with a nice doggie just Gracie's size...we saw them earlier this week...and we all recognized each other.

I have been making a digital card for Mother's Day. I will post it next week for all the ladies who stop by.

Also been fighting that fatigue thing again...just part of life for me I think...hope this weekend is a blessing for all.

Glad you had a good day Shirley :)

We went out for dinner tonight ( a hubby surprise); it was delish :D

I have been fatigued the past few days also, and just plain BLAH emotionally :o must be the dark damp days we have had.

Hubby has a 3 day weekend (there is a break in the project he is on), so that will be nice, seeing I will be gone Sunday afternoon to the bridal shower.

Blessings to all

O yum....we love eating out, but i think I must make some diet changes to really lose a few pounds. I will get weighed at the dr's on monday...that always helps me get serious about my weight.

I loved our damp days here...we have mostly, bright blue skies and dry heat, so a change is great. But I still have the blahs...have had them for a while too...am really spending more time in the word and prayer tho...I have been very unfocused there.

I think at night, we go from being too hot to too cold...a typical problem in the Spring.

Eating out kills me with the sodium, but it is a nice change from my usual bland diet :yum:

The Lord has been drawing me closer in His word and prayer the past couple weeks as well; this week I felt the need to be very quiet

Beautiful pic and area

Good night

The lightening and thunder and wind woke me up a little bit ago. That and three scared little chihuahuas trying to get under my covers! I went out onto the porch because I knew my outside cat, Belay would be wanting in as she is not a fan of storms. My bird, Seabee who usually hangs on the porch, had to be moved over to a covered area of the porch, and he was ever grateful, cooing softly his appreciation.
The temperature cooled down almost 20 degrees since I went to sleep a few hours ago so I sat out on the porch and watched the Lord's handiwork with the lightening, which was beautiful and enjoyed the very cool winds and the smell of rain coming.
When I came inside I turned the air conditioning off and opened most of the windows. I love the sounds and the smells right now.
God is good and comforting, some times in strange ways. :amen:
Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow. I am not the least bit tired or sleepy right now. I hope everyone is having a peaceful sleep or is being comforted in some way.
And that's my chit chat!

I wanted to be more quiet too....and I "am" quiet normally.

The Santa Barbara area is just gorgeous...a very obvious mix of wealthy and poor live there.

I didn't realize you had all those pets, Tery  thinking you just had the one dog; that's a full house!!
Storms are awesome, as long as we are all safe!
Today is off to a damp and dreary start again; the sun should be out tomorrow...but so will the black flies.... driving us INSIDE
That is our 'right of passage' through spring here, and they will be gone in a few weeks.

Hubby is off having breakfast with some co-workers from his last job; Penny and I are just vegging :D

We will go to Church this evening, then come home to eat our leftovers from last nights meal out ;)

Tomorrow I have my nephew's fiance's bridal shower; that should be fun!

Have a blessed day everyone

Emily is my precious little one. I love them all, all of my animals. I have 4 large rescue dogs in the back yard (Ace, Princess, Bella, and Rosie), two of the chihuahuas belong to a friend (Koby and Lady Bird) and are only here for a couple more months, one of the chihuahuas is my three legged little girl Scooter (but don't try to tell her she only has three legs, she thinks and runs like she has twenty), two cats, one inside (Wednesday) and one outside (Belay), an Indian Ringneck Lymon parakeet that is the size of a small parrot (Seabee) and assorted fish. I had several guinea pigs but they passed away from old age earlier last fall. I also had a rabbit, Ruby, that went the way of the guinea pigs. Her burial site was turned into a garden called the Ruby project. Many strange and unidentified plants have come up from her grave. I often wonder "What all did that rabbit eat?!" :)

It's pleasant to hear from fellow pet-lovers. We had a nice rain yesterday morning with thunder and lightning. Our little Shih Tzu Hank almost jumped through his skin on one of the big claps of thunder. Our little Bichon Lucy doesn't like inclement weather either. She doesn't even want to get her feet wet and gets very clingy when mother nature gets loud. It's really kind of funny, but we try to comfort them when they're scared.

By the way, we've now had enough rain this season to almost guarantee the farmers and ranchers a good year. They made plenty of hay, so they don't have to buy as much feed. The stock ponds are filling back up, so the water hauling is over for now. I almost forgot to mention that early crops are great. In short, we give thanks to God for His provisions.
