Hello and welcome to Tumbleweed64

I did us a chicken stir-fry tonight
The 'pack' was, humungus, in quantity (in future I will freeze 'HALF')
lettuce, cabbage [Green and red] Broccoli, lettuce (3 types)
carrrot, onion, sliced mixed peppers, sweet corn, bean sprouts, water-chestnuts
all fried in a little virgin oil
Pre-cooked chicken strips thawed and then diced (250 seconds 850W microwave)
and, of a cup and a half of bismati rice
boiled and then, fried in a little virgin oil ...with everything, turned-in together (under heat) prior to serving

We visited my MIL today...it was so very sad to see her suffering mentally and physically (I was in tears at one point)

After we went to have my diamond checked (every 6 months for the warranty), and then finished with a lovely dinner out (Italian food).

Tomorrow hubby goes back to work, and I will start putting away the decorations.
The tree will come down Sunday (Feast of the Epiphany), but my snowmen will stay out until spring .
We will both resume our diet/exercise regime...aiming for improved health in the new Year

It's been a while, since we did 'italian' [not-including, several, lovely bologneses]

Yes, we too, have switched-off, the electrical illuminations
The Santa Ladder , rope lights, inflatables; Santa and the snowman
and the parachute-santa will have-to come indoors in the comings days
I will snap a photo of received christmas cards
and Mary's Birthday Cards [23rd December] before the decorations are taken-down
and packed away

Today I am catching up on chores.....

I hope you...and everyone is off to a nice start for the New Year

We are without the car for a couple of weeks
while, I accumulate adequate-funds for to pay the car tax
and we are making full use of our Free bus passes in the meantime

Mary and I, are going to see the theatrical production of, "Scrooge" [Tommy Steele]
at The Lowery, later, this week... [I mentioned previously_ a Christmas Present ?]
Also our ceramics class begins a new semester next week, so we are like to be, keeping 'busy'

and it takes a while, to pick up speed again [afterwards]

I have decided to post on my blogs again...started 2 at WordPress...and reactivated 1 at Blogger. I got burned out with them for quite a while, but think I want to mess with again this year.

I need some kind of focus for each day and working with those blogs helps me out.

The guy never came for the bathroom yesterday...some kind of glitch unknown happened...we are trying again for today.

Hubby went off to work and the house is wonderfully quiet...no TV running.

Agreed! It is always nice to have things settle a bit in January

I have decided to post on my blogs again...started 2 at WordPress...and reactivated 1 at Blogger. I got burned out with them for quite a while, but think I want to mess with again this year.

When he is home it is on as long as he is awake (though he has been better at muting the sound if he is on his tablet or pc )

You are cracking me up Gail...my hubby loves the TV too...it is on as early as 4:30 am for the news...I turn it off as soon as he leaves.

I am getting more confident with writing something...the blogs are fairly safe and a good place to practice...also a place to store personal devotions.

I know the feeling...I walk behind him turning it off if he leaves the room to do something

Do you keep your blogs private?...I always hem and haw about that part (personally) because I am a private person

My blogs are public, as I am trying to share the gospel thru them...I am careful not to post something that is sensitive to me or someone I know...my personal "stuff" is my personal stuff. I learned not to share that online or even to many I meet face to face.

~radio, left 'playing' in the kitchen, nobody 'can hear' the commentary
and only able to recognise the occasional musical phrase
I say..... it's a 'waste' of electricity and contributes, to irritating 'noise-pollution'
