Good...relax and enjoy!I plan to be off my feet a lot today and with my books. Still am not completely dressed for the day and the kitchen sink is full of dirty dishes...I cleaned out the leftovers this am.![]()
Thankshe is ok....just sinus congestion now.
But the other night I was panicked and in tears; he sounded like he had the croup (in an adult it is 'tracheolitis' I guess)...and he is an asthmatic like me.
So I prayed, got the humidifier near his bed, and was prepared to do an asthma treatment and give him a dose of prednisone; thankfully he settled down and has had no fever.
But this is his second bout since Christmas with a respiratory bug.
Of course that means no work...so no pay because he is contracting; and the snow/ice removal was now up to me (arthritis/asthma)
We are a mess![]()
On Saturday I will be 60.....and was feeling pretty good about it...UNTIL the weather and illnesses hit![]()
Good...relax and enjoy!
I am doing the same, now that my errands and chores are done (I had no choice today)![]()
Yeah he doesn't feel he shook the first bug.Wish I could physically help you out...we have limitations as to waht we can do anymore too. Our weather is not so cold here. We also both have taken the pneumonia shot (for what it is worth).
He has been sick a lot then then since Christmas...maybe not really shaking the thing.
My friend, Phyllis, and I were encouraging each other by phone yesterday...it is not easy to age...there are always adjustments to make and fears to face. Yet, I see see Him at work in my inner man and heaven sounds just wonderful!
Oh sure....I do the same.I will get the rest of my work done...funny how I can relax in spite of certain dirty dishes...they can wait and by His grace, all will eventually get cleaned up.![]()
Yeah he doesn't feel he shook the first bug.
We both had the pneumonia shots years ago...
My friend and I had the same chat...she just had a double mastectomy and chemo.
We are waiting on the Lord to come back or call us home; whichever comes first
Oh sure....I do the same.
Today I just used my energy while I had it![]()
Thank you, she can use the prayers...with a hubby who doesn't communicate well, and 3 college kids, she has her hands full!I do that too...use my energy while I have it...I toted garbage down to the back part of our property, very early today. We keep a dumpster down there...used to fill half of it with horse manuer every week...now it is yard and kitchen waste...the neighbor's come around asking to use it too.
Your friend is going through a rouch time...((((((hugs)))).
what do you do with the blessings i have on my profile?

Awwww....you guys are great
You've got me in tears (again).....I'm feeling a bit low today.
I was out shoveling snow by myself (just taking a break now).... 6 inches more coming tomorrow.
NO birthday dinner reservations tomorrow with the storm.... and hubby is still sick anyway.
The kids will be over Sunday...after we clear yard( Jim will have to help me with that) if they come.
We called to doc to get eye ointment...he now has conjunctivitis on top of his congestion and fatigue.
I WAS excited about turning 60......until reality about our health, limitations, retirement financial concerns...even managing this house/property all set in at once :o
I know thew devil is nipping at my heelsand I am trying to stay rooted in the Lord, Whose will and providence is perfect.
Pray for us pleasethat we do not get discouraged or fearful.
Thanks for letting me vent (I was about to explode and hubby already feels badly)
God bless....you are such a blessing to me!
BBL after I finish shoveling and get to the pharmacy![]()
