Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
That is terrific MissD. That is a long day and lots of changes so it is wonderful that it was all handled in stride. I found out last week that my new assignment next year may be with an autistic student. He has been at the school for two years, but I have not been in his department. I requested a transfer back to this area as it is where I first started in 1993 and my adapted student is graduating. I was surprised when I heard and nothing is official but he is a nice young man. However I feel a bit underqualified as he as been assigned ASW's and this year an SEA with lot of extra autism training. Mine has all just been on the job and none too recently. So happy to hear that. Also, I don't know but one time my husband had to take a job that was not the day shift, but he had been unemployed for quite awhile. He only had to work the 3-11 about a month before he was offered day shift unexpectedly. So it can turn around perhaps even with that. Whatever....happy you have some good employment!
