I wish it was back to work for me. Well, actually, I don't want the drama and micro-management of my last job back. What I want is the job God has for me, soon! Please continue to pray.

Thank you,

Michael

Definitely continuing to pray for you, Michael. :prayer: I really, really dislike my job. I try to have a better attitude by telling myself that in this economy I should be thankful that I have something which works for me at all. Sometimes I don't succeed in my "attitude adjustment" however. But my husband and I have both had periods of unemployment and I know the strain of that.

I find I am busy cooking a lot from scratch lately. My son just started the allergy diet too so I cannot use any pre packaged foods as there are often milk and wheat ingredients in sauces and things. I am amazed at how much is in everything. I am glad as my son is quite overweight and has had problems with compulsive eating. This can be an indication of food sensitivity believe it or not.

Today I was back at my Mom's house cleaning it out :(
A lot of mixed emotions there; it came in waves.
The closing is set for march abut could be sooner, so we must act now.
Still feeling it is all surreal and that she is gone....

Praying for all your needs ~

Yes It was. I was telling the others about Benjamin and that we took him to see the Alvin & the Chipmunks movie and how well he liked it. And that he was replaying the movie at home over and over again. We also talked about having to bus him to a different school which could be more than an hour each way. They said it doesn't matter how far the drive is IF it's the right placement for him. I had to agree.

Michael, you are definitely in my prayers. I know what it's like to be stuck in a difficult situation. I'm thinking that God may have done you a favor by getting you out of your last job. Maybe you're just getting a short rest period and what God intends for you will come along. I hope and pray that it will be something with better and happier work conditions.

In the meantime:

My husband has just returned to work full time after being off for 5 months in order to have both hips replaced. He's full of titanium now lol and said his first full day back was good, though tiring. He has no pain now like he had before the hip replacement operations. :)

At our age, it's great to hear about anyone who is "more hip" than he used to be! May his recovery, and increased quality of life, continue to go well.

Glad to hear he has recovered well. I'm sure that had to be a hard surgery and recuperation. Seems like the people I've known that have had "replacements" for knees, not hips, said the recovery was very tough but they were also very glad they did it ultimately though.
