Hi Jan

'younger' huh ?

I didn't really get into 'cause/reason' why.. she needed it trimmed

I just know that having it shorter, was/is her preference
I just KNOW
that it pleases her and what pleases her, makes her smile
where then, anything I can do, to make her smile
also pleases me

Hiyah keep' Sis'

Yep! I escaped outward bruising [ty] and the aches I feel [now easing somewhat]
is probably down-to, the 'instinctive' wrenching I did
to twist my body around before contact with the floor, or-else,
I would have head-butted the kitchen door-frame
also landing on my left hip...
and 'hip-fractures' at my age... well, they don't go-down very-well [?]

There is a 'lesson' in this for me [?]

'whatever He shall bring me to, then, will He also see me through it'

alt: 'here today - [and maybe] gone tomorrow'
just, get on with TODAY..............................

Yes, I am much-better today
and just have a slight twinge in my upper arm as and when
I reach-across my body [say;] to the other arm and / or
try to twist my wrist.. but discomfort is much diminshed already :)

:doh:Guess what I am signed up for CCF and CF not CFF How confusing.

Hello and good morning Jan

An 'update' on my difficulty with the signing-in process at CFF

Apparently, the server changeover at CFF
caused, old links [to site] /shortcuts to fail

This, is the NEW one...

Christian Fun Forums

It sure doesn't look any-different from the 'old' one
but, it WORKS!! whereas the other wouldn't

First!... right-click the old shortcut [Favourites List]
and select DELETE
then follow the link I have given [above] to the site
and then, click on add to favourites

I have been a little busier than usual for me...I may start yet another blog at Blogger...I keep getting ideas for them anyway.

I saw 2 beautiful skunks in my yard last night...jet black with stunning white stripes...they are sooo pretty.
We do try to trap them tho at the advice of the county animal control...they haven't been spraying around here yet, but they probably will, they also carry rabies. It is still hard to do away with them, but because they carry rabies so badly they are not relocated but put to sleep. I just tell myself it is a humane way to end their lives...better than many human beings sometimes end their lives.

The weather is getting warmer and the sun feels good at this point...not to hot yet.

Be blessed in Him today Eagles...

Same with our skunks, but we just stay out of their way...they come out after dark usually and are no bother to us.
Good luck trapping yours ;)

We trapped and had 3 skunks put to sleep last year...they like to live under a shed of ours...I am not anxious to do away with these 2...they are supposed to eat a varity of nasty things...like black widow spiders for one.

They remind me so much of cats, I have a very soft spot for them.

Oh my!
Ours liked the enclosed area under our porch, which actually is a 4 season room, open to the rest of the house...and it smelled!
So we had to enclose the area with chicken wire that was buried in the ground besides, and that did the trick!
But then we had them coming to the bird feeders and spraying racoons that visited to mark their territory.
That got solved when we had to take the feeders down because of the black bears....it is WILD AROUND HERE ^_^
Praying the trapping goes well; I wouldn't want to do it (for smelly reasons)

We have a ton of skunks here these days, it used to be raccoons but then they died off in a distemper epidemic. When they were bad we trapped a ton of them and took them to the SPCA. We were concerned as they were so bold they came out during the day. They came for the wild cherries ate their fill and left their messes everywhere it was disgusting. We also had a great gang of children (my 4 my neighbors had four and two respectively) in our little enclave that we felt were at risk.

Now we get to smell skunks all the time. My dog got sprayed only once. BTW we live in the heart of a city not in the country. gg

Yes, we had more problems when we lived in the city than here in the country.
Here they mind their manners; heck I have even gone outside to shoo them away when I expected my son would be home from work soon, and they just looked at me...no spraying, and quietly move on ^_^
Gorgeous creatures too, with a perfect stripe, and salt & pepper tail :D

Thank you missmsd'

All, is well with Mary and I

I still havent heard anything from Vivian since her open-heart procedures
save, for a Hi-5 wave and a Friend Acknowledgment
and I truly hope this is due-to a discharged laptop battery only
but, she is in God's hands so I have peace with this

My friend Chris, came onto messenger, earlier
We had a good chat
I met him [first] well, VIRTUALLY anyway
in 2000/2001 on another forums
and corresponded for about three years before trouble 'there'
caused the forums to close
Thankfully... we had each others emails and were able to keep-in-touch
We are going to meet-up next Thursday in Manchester [for the first-time]
and I am looking forward to this meeting very-much

More news later
