Awwwww Sis'
I am, in a position to empathise completely with your feelings
but, we must not carry their crosses for them

~ We, each of us... have been given CHOICE
~ as 'individuals' ... to-accept the teachings and administrations, of our elders

We, must-not... reproach ourselves, for 'failing' to ensure others should not fail
We, are only human... by no-means perfect
and... we did... that which we felt was 'right'
according to our knowledge and experience at that-time [what we felt was BEST ?]

Just 'how' they, responded to such 'goodwill' is of their 'own doing'

ask yourself... what MORE... could our parents have done, for US ?
and think on this... what MORE might we have learned
could we, THEN... have been able to foresee our own futures [?]

Our Lord, knew... each of our outcomes whilst we were still in the womb [?]
His will, and not-our's ....will be done!

If I had done this... and what-if....I had done that ....then perhaps....
are.. simply 'self-inflicted abuse' and is, just so-undeserved

Pray for them... but.... love them enough, to let-them-go
to find their own, chosen paths........ as is, their-right also [?]

I pray for you to be able to find His peace in your heart

'There.... but for the grace of God, go I'

:prayer:

your Bro'

dave

I have come to peace about this Dave...it has taken quite a while...but I have let this child go in a sense and I still pray for him often.

I was very much a mess as a young mother and most in my family were not any better...the sins of the fathers do get passed from one generation to another.

All my sins are forgiven "In Christ"...like David's sin with Bathsheba...yet there were definite consequences to face in his family. We do reap what we sow sometimes...I am trying to sow to the Spirit these days. ;)^_^

The emqail post is interesting Dave...I never send those on or return them...do I still get put on a list?

If you have received one... then I guess the chances-are
that you have been added to the pigeon's message-carrier already
and are then, [presumably] 'prone' to receive more SPAM

you COULD do as I have done....

Give notice to your 'contacts list'
of, your 'intent' to change your email addy
and, politely 'suggest' that they do also

create a new email addy and 'add' those contacts that do so also
leaving those whom do not change their addy
to continue in the old email... and look in [once in a while]
to check for anything IMPORTANT

as a note of interest IE7 has a useful NAUGHTY SITE CATCHER [? :)]
and
Windows Live Mail has a VERY-ACTIVE one [also]
that is able to learn
re: SPAM SENDERS
and will then block all such senders from all users
of, Windows Live Mail
:D Yes.... I use Windows LIVE EVERYTHING :D search/mail/messenger

I am so glad, that I did not choose to become a politician

MPs and their expenses claims - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

I don't know how these people manage to smile
I really do not

dave

Oooooooooh lookee here
The LID is off on the 'SYSTEM MILKERS'

Minister to repay £41,709 expenses - , - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

MPs and their expenses claims - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

MPs' expenses: most outrageous claim? - , - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

If a 'benefits-claimant' makes a fraudulent claim to DWP*
then, he/ she....... could be sent to prison
and still be required to repay that 'overpayment'

and yet.... it is plain to me, that much more serious 'stealing'
has been going-on for YEARS by 'elected-representatives'

The sum 'WRONGLY DISPENSED' has been logged, at OVER £100,000
and this will grow as 'records' are scanned
and LIGHT is shone into these murky 'goings-on'

We have read of MP's whom have taken caribbean holidays
as the guest of some 'businessman' which was seen as a PERK
and maybe also as a 'carrot' for later government-support for the 'businessman'

The integrity of these people is presently seen as being non-existent

There is 'talk' on TV News
that all 'claims' for these allowances
are investigated and granted by an 'independant' fees panel
This, calls into question, how 'independant' this panel is
and 'whose-rules' do they use ????
to decide WHO gets WHAT ????

I would love to raise these matters in Twitter
but the server cannot handle 'submissions' of,
more than a few-lines each

Subject: The Seed

*The Seed

A successful business man was growing old
and knew it was time to choose a successor
to take over the business.

Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children,
he decided to do something different.

He called all the young executives in his company together.

He said, 'It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO.

I have decided to choose one of you.
'The young executives were shocked, but the boss continued.
'I am going to give each one of you a SEED today -
one very special SEED.
I want you to plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today
with what you have grown from the seed I have given you.
I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose
will be the next CEO.'

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others,

received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his wife the story.
She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed.
Everyday, he would water it and watch to see if it had grown.

After about three weeks, some of the other executives
began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.

Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants,

but Jim didn't have a plant and he felt like a failure.

Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot.

He just knew he had killed his seed.
Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing.
Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however.
He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil -
He so wanted the seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company

brought their plants to the CEO for inspection.

Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot.

But she asked him to be honest about what happened.
Jim felt sick to his stomach, it was going to be
the most embarrassing moment of his life,
but he knew his wife was right.
He took his empty pot to the board room.
When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants
grown by the other executives.
They were beautiful -- in all shapes and sizes.
Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed,
a few felt sorry for him!

_part two

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room

and greeted his young executives.

Jim just tried to hide in the back.
'My, what great plants, trees, and flowers you have grown,'
said the CEO.
'Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!'

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room
with his empty pot.
He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to the front.
Jim was terrified. He thought,
'The CEO knows I'm a failure!
Maybe he will have me fired!'

When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him
what had happened to his seed -
Jim told him the story.

The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim.
He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives,
'Behold your next Chief Executive Officer!

His name is Jim!'
Jim couldn't believe it.
Jim couldn't even grow his seed.

'How could he be the new CEO?'
the others said.

Then the CEO said,
'One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed.
I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it
back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds;
they were dead -
it was not possible for them to grow.

All of you, except Jim,
have brought me trees and plants and flowers.
When you found that the seed would not grow,
you substituted another seed for the one I gave you.
Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty
to bring me a pot with my seed in it.

Therefore, he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive Officer!'

* If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

* If you plant goodness, you will reap friends

* If you plant humility, you will reap greatness

* If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

* If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective

* If you plant hard work, you will reap success

* If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation

* If you plant faith in God, you will reap a harvest

So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later.

Thank you very much Pat
It is, such a shame
that our POLITICIANS
cannot show similar integrity

It is a good story Jan

It also follows
my announcement [here]
re: 'dishonesty' and 'privelege-abuse' by UK politicians very-well indeed

The point I made there...
was that such abuses are endemic within the commons
and have also been 'practised' for years
I have no-information as to any goings-on
within the House Of Lords.... ~along similar lines

But... the truth is.... undeniable
~that MANY have abused the system
~perhaps ALL 'politicians' have had access to these scams

one, has apparently repaid £40,000 [at todays valuation £]
therefore... he has in-effect
had an interest free loan
and repaid LESS [in value] than he actually 'borrowed'

Talk of 'open-government' is.... JUST TALK
~
'what the eye doesn't see, the heart cannot grieve over'

Am so glad you like 'The SEED' story

It's Monday...I am sort of taking it slow & easy today...we did tree trimming in the yard yesterday...everything is extremely dry here and I want as much brush cleared away from the house as possible.

We also had an earthquake last night...early evening, I felt the shake...they never feel wonderful...guess it was pretty strong closer to the coast.

Blessings from me to everyone.
