Dear Friends,


I won't be around for a couple of days or so as we have to travel to the hospital first thing tomorrow for the preliminary tests etc prior to Rob starting his treatment. Tomorrow will involve the making of a mask and at some point over the next couple of days he will also have to have another MRI scan and a CT scan. I can't remember what else they have planned for him.

I took time away from CF for a couple of days. I am so enjoying having time to spend in the Word of God. I feel God is directing me in some intersting ways lately. He is so good. Hope you all have a great day.
Ley I am glad the process for Rob's treatment has started I pray it won't be a difficult day for you.
I like the idea of Christmas in July summer is a very sparse time for some ministries so it is good to have that 'Christmas Spirit" of generousity alive at this time of year. I will have to figure out what God wants me to do with it?? Jan

LOL! Me too.

We had some storms in the area last night. My mother's electricity went out. (She lives in another suburb about 45 mins away.) My husband went to get her (in Texas, it is so hot for an elderly person to be without air conditioning all night could be dangerous) He got almost to her house and her electricity finally came back on!

Hope we get some rain today. Our part didn't get any yesterday. We need rain. At least some areas got some.

There have been huge power outages in the downtown Vancouver Canada core. About 1/3 of the city was without power. An underground fire in the electrical system caused it. We are fine here. It is sunny and lovely. I had a funny black squirrel visit me yesterday. I will post a picture. I am sure he would have come right in my house but I was afraid my dog would scare him and he would run further into the house and get lost so just took pictures throught he window. LOL Haven't seen a squirrel in years. Jan

I have never seen a black squirrel. We have lots of squirrels in this area, however. They are fun to watch out the window, but they can be quite a nuisance if they take up residence in your attic.

Sorry, I don't know how to re-size either. My husband, the computer geek, does, but not me.
