  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A brief visit ... thank you all for your prayers. They mean such a lot. We do have one piece of good news to share - Rob is now going to referred to another hospital to a specialist who might be able to offer radiosurgery treatment on his brain tumour. We go to Cambridge tomorrow for an appointment with another specialist. Rob has to go as a private patient as he was told he wasn't eligable to have a second opinion otherwise. However, things are slowly moving forward adn we give thanks and praise to the Lord for that.

I think of you all often and miss you all a lot but circumstances prevent me from being able to use the computer much these days. Hopefully things will settle down a bit soon.

Love and blessings to you all

 Good morning, everyone. I was ill yesterday (wahhhh) and didn't get on the computer much. Hope everyone is well. I seem to be feeling better today.

Val, I am sorry that you weren't feeling well yesterday. I hope today is better for you.

I just love your dress! Very Victorian. Please tell me where you found the parasol?

I had a busy weekend, and now need to catch up with the house. My husband and I saw Donizetti's "La Fille du Regiment" via a simulcast the NY Metropolitan is doing through movie theaters. It feels strange to go to a movie theater to see a live opera, but it was wonderful. The singing was awesome. I think the male lead, Juan Diego Florez may well be our next Pavarotti.

Then last night we had another opera event, this time two opera apprentices singing in a free performance through our University.

I can still hear the lovely music...

Be blessed today. I hope you all have a good day in the Lord.

Helloall! How was everyone's day. We had giant snowflakes, about the size of a fist, and at the same time rain coming down. The snow covered the roofs of the house and then after a while the snow melted. It only made it up to about 38 today. Hope the rest of week is better.

Ley, you and Rob are in my prayers. I do so hope the new surgeon will be able to treat this terrible tumor.:hug:

I got the parasol in the "Special Items" category. Glad you liked it. I'm so glad that new items are added often to our little character wardrobes!!

:swoon:SNOW!!!!! Oh my goodness!!!! It was near 80 here in the south yesterday!
I saw on the news this morning that tornadoes struck up the east coast in Virginia yesterday and that many lost their homes and were injured. :prayer: for all those people. How devastating!!

Hope all the Eagles have a wonderful day today.:hug::hug:

Ley, praying for you and Rob for Rob's medical visit in Cambridge. :prayer:
Good Morning. How's Tuesday going? I'm getting ready to go to work for another day, another dollar. I guess I should be gratefull for having a job now a days. I just wish we would not have any customers call with problems with their insurance coverage.

Good morning everybody!
Thank you all for the reps!
I haven't been on because my girls were off from school for spring break and they needed their computer time.
So now I am trying to play catch up with everything.
I hope you are having a good day. It is cloudy and rainy here.
Well I guess I should go and try and get some work done.
Have a great day.
God Bless

Yes, Dave, I have been having problems. "Mozilla Firefox" is a much more stable server to use than Internet Explorer. Also, click twice on the "Post Quick Reply" button when you want to post instead of once.
I have never tried Firefox but plan on downloading it soon. I had hoped to wait until the version 3 was cleared of bugs but don't think I can wait that long.
Hello everyone. A good day here, the warm weather is just around the corner. God's blessings to you all.

I have Mozilla Firefox also

I would like to have TABS within it, as does, IE 7

I do not use it very often and whilst I can use it
find IE 7 more, to my liking

I have never tried it but I have been taking a web creating class and would like to see my work on more then one browser since it can be different. I have heard from family and friends that they really like it and even prefer it over IE. I just got to know my way around in IE 7......I think that is why I put off getting Firefox.

PS. For those that asked. The little angel I am taking care of belongs to a friend that had to have an operation (it was today) so I am taking care of her until her mama is well again. I'm loving every minute!:)
