Hello, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was great. The special Olympics was a lot of fun. My grandson did a good job.

Oh is your grandson in Special O what is his sport. They have lots happening where I live and I know many that are involved. My son never got involved in their activities except occasionally the dances but he does take part in a ski program for the disabled each year that he loves.
I missed the morning too at least here on CF so Good Afternoon. The weather has turned colder again and we had showere but the rest of the weekend was great. I even sat out on my deck in the sun a bit yesterday. All the family will be returning home from their various long weekend destinations later today. I am thinking I will order Chinese when they finally arrive as it is hard to tell with traffic how long it could take them. I feel a bit better now and am trying to eat more although I am trying to take it slow. (I don't like pain). My cold is also improving so thanks to all who prayed for me. I feel a bit listless so won't stay on long, but just want you to know how much I appreciate the fellowship here with you all in GE. Jan

Well, being honest.... I have to say

just how much you guys HELP to fill my day

I never really know, just, in what way I am going to reach out to anyone

You are NOT just virtual friends, you are real people

each, with own families, friends lists, responsibilities, loves and lives

Like me, you FIND TIME, to come here and to chat
SOMETIMES, guardedly, often humourously
but, ALWAYS
with open-heartedness and empathy
and so-willing, to see someone 'overcome' whilst your own stuff
is placed on the 'simmer ring/plate'

The cameraderie, is as close
as that experienced by true siblings
and in many ways superior,
because of, a lifetime's experience, moderates our own handling
of compassionate understanding of, anothers experience

I am so grateful that my friend and sister 'Miggles'
brought me here to CF, where, 'over-time'
I have repeatedly [so-often] perceived, that 'this' was meant to be
that, I wasnt meant to be doing anything-else
that I was, ALWAYS, 'headed-here'
for, home, is where the heart is

~your best stuff is always accomplished better
when you are able to have your heart in the matter

Dave your post I think said it for everyone. I know that is the way I feel. I wish we could thumbtack that somewhere; it really says what the Golden Eagles are about.
