Good afternoon!
I am getting on late today. I have been trying to catch up with some long over replies to emails.
We just received some wonderful news. Last July our son, his wife and children came to surprise my husband for his 60th birthday. They hadn't seen each other in 18 years ( because of my hubby's ex took his sons to Az, and they were not able to visit). My hubby's oldest son wasn't able to come with them because of money worries, but he will be coming here for a visit on June 7th. First time that they will see each other in all those years too. I cried so hard late year, so I guess I better get the hankies again. There is a pic of part of the gang on my page.
I will share pics when he gets here.
Well I am off to start dinner, have a wonderful afternoon.

That is wonderful news! And I think it's even more wonderful that you get to share all of this with someone you love! I can just imagine the tears of joy. I am so happy for you, and I hope this is only the beginning of many more family reunions to come.

It is a little cool in Jersey to be going to the beach. We were having such nice spring weather, and now we had frost warnings last night. I am looking forward to springs return.

We're in South Carolina where we have a little cottage about a mile from the beach. We really enjoy coming here where it is so much warmer than home. We've been slowly working on the place and making it more comfortable. We love it here.

I am green with envy!

I love the ocean, and I love running on the beach in the early morning. I love watching the sun on the water, it's reflection forming a path to heaven, it seems.

Texas is just waking up...or maybe I am just waking up. In a few minutes I'll get ready to work out on my treadmill--a far cry for the beach, but I can dream, can't I?

Hugs to you, Ariel. It is lovely and we get to see azaleas blooming here and at home for months. It is wonderful.

I am not a beach person ( to sit in the sun), but I do love to walk when there are no crowds. I love the peaceful feeling.

We like the same thing. When we sit down at the beach we take books to read and put up an umbrella. Many times when we go down there there are only 1 or 2 people on the whole beach (at this time of year). It makes us feel that we have our own private little beach. LOL.

GRRRR -- I guess when I get home I'll need to pm the judges to see if we can get the Victorian Dressup contest moving along so we can announce on May 4 instead of May 6. It seems when they do upgrades the forum is down more than just a day or two. I'll see what I can do.
