It does not take much to confuse me now a days!

I must have missed the fun of the wondering posts. I'm sure that was confusing. I know I would have been confused.

I hope that this finds it's way to the right place.
Looks like things were a little mixed up over the last few days.
I hope you are all doing well.
The sun is shining here today, but it is still chilly outside.
Spring is just not ready to get into full bloom here yet.
I am so looking forward to going and working in the garden. My hubby wants veggies again so he will be making room for a small veggie patch. Nothing better than fresh from th garden tomatoes.

This week has been so beautiful so far.....really makes me want to get out & start digging.....unfortunately, no moisture so far & ground is hard as a rock.....next option is a slow soak with a hose (if the landlord agrees)......

It was a wonderful day for us also.
We even included a friend of our youngest daughters. Her family is from Peru and they don't celebrate like we do and my daughter wanted to include her. My hubby even made her an Easter basket. It was so worth seeing the smile on her face.

I know how you feel. I want to get out there and dig too. But I am still worried about cold nights. Soon it will be warm enough.

We've got the windows open all night now.

We have a lot of wind and about 45 right now. It did find its way to 55. I wish all the dirty snow would melt. Maybe that would help brighten up things.

Right now, I am sinfully proud of my oldest daughter, who teaches science in the houston area. She just called to tell me that the ten thousand dollar grant she sought to take a trip across the United States visiting all the National Parks was awarded to her! This was no small undertaking, and the best thing about it is that she will be able to take her child, my oldest grand daughter, with her!
What a glorious opportunity!
And I know I'm kinda goofy, but I just had to share it here with you all!
Am I beaming? I do believe I am!!

Right now, I am sinfully proud of my oldest daughter, who teaches science in the houston area. She just called to tell me that the ten thousand dollar grant she sought to take a trip across the United States visiting all the National Parks was awarded to her! This was no small undertaking, and the best thing about it is that she will be able to take her child, my oldest grand daughter, with her!
What a glorious opportunity!
And I know I'm kinda goofy, but I just had to share it here with you all!
Am I beaming? I do believe I am!!

Congrats. That will be a great opportunity for all of them. Too bad you could not make the trip along with her. I've been to several National Parks over the years. We used to take 3 weeks vacations and drive across the USA. It was a very learning experience. My Mother made us kids make scrapbooks for every trip. Every night before turning in we would have to write a down what we did that day and what we saw. We would collect placemats and napkins from places we ate and postcards from different things we saw. It was great. I still have some of them packed in boxes.

My husband and I would love to travel when her retires in 5 years. We want to see the sites while we are still young enough to walk around without walkers! lol

I am a little jealous, I can only open the kitchen window a crack right now. I can not wait for when I can throw open all the windows and exchange the stale winter air for the fresh scents of spring. Even though I have allergies. Ah springtime isn't wonderful!
