I may have-to go into hospital [soon]

My hernia-repair [September 2007] has broken down
and gives me some gyp as I move around
Mary got me a doc' appointment but it's a week away [15th]
and I may need to see a doctor, sooner than that
we will see how painful it gets in the meantime

I will, be taking it easier around the house
and will use the 'trolley' when shopping

Thanks for the tour dave it looks very festive. We just got our tree up last night. I am home once again with a bronchitis so was just putting the finishing touches on it. Can't decide if I want tinsel garlands on it or not. it looks a bit busy I think. I still have to set up the creche too. My youngest son will likely do his thing and decorate arouond the windows again with lights. That part is just beyond me. Jan

The decorations 'indoors' are being kept to the minimum
this way, we can keep our 'light'
and there isn't so-much dust and mess to clear away
when the twelve-days are over

Where, it says, that members can PREVIEW their PM boxes
simply by hovering over their PM titles

Now, I don't /didn't know quite what to-expect
so I hovered over Private Messages on, both the GE Index Page
and when in User CP only to find that NOTHING at-all 'HAPPENED'

So, I went-into my Private Messages Box

and hovered over each of the titles in turn
and then 'the light' came on
and, I could then see the preview of the messages [one, by one]
without opening the messages [quickie glances]


ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Bisto!!!!!!!

Happy Sunday! Church was good this morning and was made all the brighter with a baptism, we welcomed a lbaby girl into the fold. Afterwards there was a small buffet. I actually managed a quick hello and some cake inbetween taking care of the churches financial matters. On thursday night we have our Carol service, not sure if I'm going yet. It will depend largely on the weather.

The 360 tour did look good Dave. I kept things to a minimum this year because I am the one who gets "stuck" taking everything out and then putting it all back again. This year I did things my way and I don't care who protests! I will try to post a picture of my Christmas tree which is a palm tree! It looks really good if I do say so myself.

LOL! That is very cute, keeptrying!! I know exactly what you mean about hauling it out and putting it away. I don't mind the hauling it out...it's that putting it away part that gets me. So I put out less stuff this year as well.

'Seasy enough


grab a winter scene and take it into paint

click EDIT and then, SELECT ALL
right-click the pic [to store a copy on your clipboard]
[in case you mess-up and need to start again ]


grab the bottom right of the image
and drag it upwards and to the left
to make the image a 'square' of approx' 2" x 2"
click on IMAGE and then ATTRIBUTES
to 'check' size is about 250 x 250 pixels

SAVE AS 'background'

next
grab a good image of your doll
and using the flexible selector tool cut out your doll
from whatever it's present-background is
click on the bottommost tool icon in Paint [left pane]

and SAVE AS 'avatar doll'

In Paint
Click FILE
and OPEN 'background' from files listed bottom of left pane

open another Paint window

Click FILE and OPEN 'avatar doll'
[AGAIN from the files listed at the bottom of the Paint window]
right click the doll select COPY
and then minimise this paint window
click EDIT on the Paint window below and select PASTE
or right-click the background image and select PASTE

the avatar doll will appear on top of the background
and occupy the TOP RIGHT of the window
left-click the doll and drag it down the background
UNTIL the feet arrive where you want it to stand
next
grab the top left or right corners of the doll holder frame
and drag it diagonally to the opposite bottom corner
UNTIL the doll reaches required size [?]

This, may need some practice.....

please post BOTH images and I will deliver an example
