I received a letter from my consultant yesterday
He refers to his examination of my recent 'recorded, ultrasound-scans'
He says, I have "a blocked artery" in my "right-thigh"
But, I knew of this, back in Bristol some 18 months ago [or more]
because, at first, 'grafts' had been discussed, and rejected
followed later, by consideration being given
to 'amputation' of my right leg, delayed for a year
"see how it goes"
He also mentioned some "narrowing of an artery" in my "left thigh"
which has already been opened up by angioplasty
more than nine years ago, in Bristol
He mentioned an appointment 'being made'
for me to go into hospital for an angiogram, in the very near future
and that he has informed my GP
No mention was made of my right carotid artery
in which, the operator found calcification
but, this does not raise 'concern' in me
for I am happy to have, one day at a time
