Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs...

who arranged a running competition.

The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

The wisdom of this story is:

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be

negative or pessimistic...
take
your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you...
the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have.


"There's life and death in the power of the tongue"
Proverbs 18:21.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!



Therefore: ALWAYS be... POSITIVE!

And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU,

"You cannot fulfill your dreams!"

Always think: God and I can do this!

We had just two callers over halloween
I gave each a small bag, each containing around 50 pence [in copper]

It was a very quiet night, doubtless due to the weather being so cold
and also, because most kids around here have outgrown
the will to dress up and to visit the neighbourhood


I received this email from Mary a couple of years ago [almost]
The images that came with it have long since disappeared from the mailbox
but it's textual content has a very nice message

Good afternoon. Hope your Sunday is going well. I had early church service to sing at so Benjamin and I got up at 5:30am. I'm going to crash early I think. That's if I get all the laundry done.

I will make a 'start' on glueing-up my horse today
as my connection is intermittently breaking off
[as it did yesterday... multiple TENS of times]

We are still awaiting the arrival of the telecom engineers
to fix our problem with the line since Teddy's last 'munch' on them
It is a blessing, that I can get here at all since then

Hey Dave love the ceramics. I've had a go at that sort of thing but not that artistic, I was more in to models and stuff before the arthris started to sting too much.

Cheers for the advice, tried the oil, I prefer the fish! I was anti-inlammatories but they were starting to play havoc with the transplant. But hey, I'm still here and enjoying the extended life that He gave me!

but my deformation of finger joints has slowed up
one whole-lot, if-not, completely Bro'

You would need to swallow a whole lot of fish to play 'catch-up'

Yep.... they, gave me intestinal bleeding
and I became slightly anaemic to-boot

But Jesus gave out the fishes.... and we learned to extract their oils

I am doing a step challenge with my school we are competing against all the o ther schools in the district. I wear a step counter all day and the goal is a million steps per school. I have to use the treadmill or the elliptical trainer to make the step counter record the steps. I prefer the rowing maching but it doesn't count as steps. Consequently my ankles and lower back are stiff. I think mostly from the treadmill as it is impact while the other machine isn't. I have been taking Tylenol (Acetominaphen) when it get too sore. Jan

Wow, that is really neat. What are your competing for? I hope you don't over due and hurt your ankles and back. Those machines can be hard on ones body.
