Thank you all for your interest in Tanner and mum. Mum is home, but Tanner remains in hospital. He developed an infection and is breathing heavily. He is not in danger, but doctors are being cautious. In fact, he is behaving somewhat like an unborn baby in the womb, and doctors are now wondering if they missed the proper due date, and the baby is premature. Apparently these are typical in womb behaviours.

In all other respects he is healthy, as is his mum. Christine is going through the usual post-delivery blues.

Mary and Christine spend the day in hospital. I do not go because parking is too far off for me to walk, and I would have great difficulty staying there frm half nine in morning until have 7 at night.

The health problems were mainly precautionary on the part of doctors, and I appreciate them bending on the side of safety. He fed well all day. Mum is more relaxed and so is baby,,makes sense, doesn't it? I even got a little smile out of him..........lol

Just got back from holiday jim and was thrilled with the news of Tanner's birth. I am glad he is doing well and I am hoping mom is as well. As a person who has experienced pp blues/depression I know it can be very difficult to overcome sometimes. Cheers Jan

in GE 50+ from Manchester... UK

azuno... I have been awaiting the switching-on
of my own Broadband Connection
since my arrival here from Bristol on July 6th this year (??)
BT... the 'carrier' insisted,
that the existing "PIPEX broadband service"
should run for a further one month (notice)
this, duly happened....
HOWEVER, when I phoned Orange (my provider)
I was informed that it could take a further 15 working-days
to have, BT, link, my new number to their service
duhhhhhhh!!
This morning, the neighbour "Jackie" whom you might recall
invited Mary and I, to Sunday Dinner (a while back)
announced a problem with her upgrade
to AOL Broadband from her past dial-up connection
and Mary, suggested to her, that I might
be of, some assistance with that
LOL....
The lady, was connected inside the hour
and has very kindly
allowed me to access CF via her service
for the purpose of, quelling any concerns,
amongst my friends, brothers and sisters
regarding, my now lengthy-absence from the boards here
I WILL BE BACK
it is, simply gonna take a while longer than anticipated
oc.... my lack of internet access
has given me some "SPARE TIME"
to work on our garden "rooms"
with, wood and masonry treatments
to 'cut-back' on some very errant plant growth
to complete, some minor decorations and reparations
(indoors)

no time for a DULL MOMENT
iow: no idle hands or minds here
Mit geduld (with patience) I look-forward to getting back here
within two weeks or so
(fingers too busy to be X'd)

I was wondering about you, Dave. It's cool that you're doing productive gardening and such, isn't it? In a few months, I won't have a computer in my house, and I'm wondering just how much I will get done that needs doing. I'm going to make it a personal challenge to do so. Good Morning everyone. Things seem pretty quiet here today. Hope all of you are well. I am just trying to get back into the swing of things since I returned from holiday. I still have a bit of time before officially heading back to work on Sept 4 but there is never a dull moment. Finished celebrating 2 bdays yesterday, mine and # 3 son who is 25. Had to take my old doggie to the vet for blood work yesterday as she was unable to keep food down. Nothing specific and she ate a bit with no problems this am. Still she is getting old almost 15 so I want to make sure she is comfortable. Cheers Jan
