Thanks guys/girls. Christ's comming is still paramount in my life and I glorify in His comming. He is my savior and nothing worldly will ever dampen the enthusiasm of His birth into the world.

Grief and loss can be a lesson because when someone leaves, you know who is REALLY there for you allways. He is allways the one who is left when others forsake you so He should allways be first.

He is my strength and salvation.

Oh,oh, Radidio, my heartfelt prayers coming your way. A tough break; but you are soooo right...he really is there for you no matter where, what, when, or who...

Hey, guys and gals, could you say a little prayer for our safety? We are driving to the SW from the NW..leaving either mid-Christmas Day or the next morning...1800 miles to our little winter abode...postponed it last month due to road conditions and were here for the big storm in the NW...when many including us lost electricity.

There can be much snow and difficulty driving on the passes, chains may be required, etc. All is challenging but at our ages this time of year even more so.

Please pray for safety for the two kitties and us and that the van holds up well. Thanks so very, very, much. I know how these prayers do help.

Yes, travelling mercies to all who are motoring this Christmas.

My daughter, husband and family are moting from Georgia to Green Bay, Wisconsin for Christmas. They lived there once, so they know how cold it can get.

I am travelling back and forth between, living room and my office and bedroom,,,,,,,not forgetting the little room, you know where...........

Yes we are staying put this year and hoping for a peaceful time free of near hurricane force wind storms and rain/ snow storm. Actually a nice soft snowfall I could handle as long as people don't lose power. It has been so hard for so many. Birdfriend safe journeys and may Gods hand guide you always. love gg. Gladly will we pray for your Safe & Peacefull travels...

And also, I've driven snowpacked/Icy passes in Wa, Ut, Or, & Ca. ~ and know how nervewracking that can be. Yet, the worst-trip, I just prayed: "Jesus, please make it known to me, in which of these 100-vehicles is a more experienced, *trustWorthy* driver to help get our little pick-up over the Pass tonight..."
and
you know Birdfriend , less than 10-minutes later, here comes this Trucker (hauling 2 HUGE rigs); and he says "I hope you're not feeling half as scared as you look, lady Tell you what, I'll gladly slow down, enough so you can follow me UP, & back Down - and I'll keep watching to make sure you're not stuck. And I'll help you in any other way I can; just so long as I can get this Load delivered by tomorrow afternoon". ~ This man, Birdfriend, was JESUS' answer to prayer.

And when we got *safely, peacefully* into the valley, this man absolutely refused to let us buy him Breakfast, let alone accept money. He said "What goes around, comes around; and it's written all over you that you help people all day long, so helping you tonight was the least that I could do. God Bless you, and Enjoy a Merry Christmas with your little family."

True, we meet with angels unawares...

Yes I am back Ihave been busy and still trying to get well. Nothing major just makes day to day harder. got to the bottom of one problem now on Antibiotics so hopefully my strength will improve once the infection is dealt with. I am almost ready for Christmas so that is good but I would still like to do a bit of goody cooking. lol. Anyway if I don't connect before Christmas Day Have a Wonderful Day. Love to all gg

Well, Grace, we have no snow in Eastern Ontario either...will rain substitute? I can always get the paint sprayer out and have a go at the rain............Or just sit tight and watch the telly......

Sorry your ill Nanajojo Any hot drink helps but I especially go for licorice spice tea when i have throat problems. Works on coughs real well too. Ginger tea is a one too. It is frustrating this time of year when you cannot sing all the good Christmas songs and carols. I am much better and actually could sing at the Christmas Eve service tonight(Just in the congregation). Wishing you all a wonderful holiday tomorrow. Love gg
