I agree, Al Gore would have a hard time convincing people in the north that global warming exist in the first place, which I don't believe it does anyway......It turned political, and the UN wants to blame and tax us at the same time anyway.
However, I do believe We are in the 'End Times' and watching closely for those signs.

Well we here in NY state are once again bracing for yet another snow storm, not lake affect mind you, just a good old fashion snow storm(so the weather people said) after school activities were canceled, kids holding their breath to see if school will be closed. So it is finally winter Yea:)

Thanks for your concern mommysue. We all here are safe! No school for almost everyone in NY state. Son-in-law who drives truck, didn't make it home last night, but at least he knew enough to stop and spend the night instead of trying to drive. We have an additional 2or 3 ft. of more snow since last night. But when you retire you don't really have to go some place so I just wait it out. Do hold up those who have to work, and drive in this mess.Keep them in prayers. I have pictures but have to find them

I can't imagine all that snow. we just had a foot yesterday and the blowing was the problem so there is alot of huge drifts that make it look like 4 feet and not 1 foot.
kids all think it is great and it is cold but in a week it is suppose to get up to high 40's maybe 50 . I don;t know
I finally gave up on my drive way tomarrow my son will clean it for me. I could only get the sidewalk and around the car I drive the most. I guess you could say we are having a real winter this year.

Totally agree!! And your point is??? Not trying to be smart but is there more to this? Does someone worship there animals? Better pray for them, I will.
I have two dogs but they know there place(on the coach,on the bed, just about anywhere they want to be) but I put my foot down when they want to sit at the table and eat with me:) But they would NEVER get worshiped(except if they learned to do the dishes)
All joking aside the Lord saved me not my pets and you're right He made them for our enjoyment and pleasure, thanks for reminding us of that.
Bless

We all get close to animals, and love them. on a one and one basis, but we have to keep things in perspective. They are animals, we do love them, but we shouldn't be praising them. God made tghem for us
LOL Blueguy
you talk like you are scared of them (one to one basis)

Yes of course God made them too

BUT FOR US TO ENJOY!

I kept a Family pack of German Shepherds
along with the six children of my second marriage
YES! all indoors No animal /human friction
they were all
a part of our family... all trustworthy
they had a few tiffs amongst themselves
that I called halt to
Indeed, my Hogan only ever nipped one-person
the ex's elder brother...
He had arrived the worse for-drink
and was very loud (near shouting)
and FULL of happiness, He came over the doorstep into the hall and made for the lounge door
predicting trouble if HE WENT FIRST I called for him to
let me go-first as I closed the front door
NAH ISS ARIGHT I NOSE THY DOGS
I INT SCARED OF EM and he blew through the door
like a comic making a stage-entrance

WHAM hogan hit him on his pubic bone It was just a nip
with the front teeth
but I just heard the wind escape his lips leaving none for
the scream I called to Hogan to back-off WHICH HE DID
and the then, brother-in-law looked at me with the look that said:
I have been a right prat ant I ? well, with all six dogs then in the room
he is now indoors and he unzipped his trousers to find, the KISS shaped
bruise of Hogans incisors (little flat teeth in between the
canines)
Hogan had missed his vital part, by just an inch

Within a few minutes He was smoothing Hogan and Hogan was wagging his tail
Her brother wasnt a regular visitor but he sobered quickly

I didnt leave my kids 'unattended' with them until they were in their teens
but they all handled them as pups and the dogs were hierarchically-lower in my family-pack

When my ex cleared off prior to the divorce Hogan, had a heart attack
within a couple of weeks She had doted on him and he probably pined for her
despite my continued loving care

I had bought him for-her, as she had always wanted a white one...... Belgarian's White Pearl
His parents were American Show Champions
He 'cost' me £300 with his papers at four months of age
but money at that time was of 'no-concern'
I was earning £600 a week and we had begun buying the house
some eighteen years before that
I phoned HER mobile, and told her that he wouldnt last long
as I had had to carry and support him to his toilet
The vet said he could put him to sleep or, just make him comfortable
which I was happy to go-with because he was hers
and Hogan really wanted her to come home
she arrived an hour later and spent eight hours
cradling his head on her lap before he left us
I got the older lads to open the garden
and I buried him underneath the branches of one of two
small trees
near the pools...
He would lay there as if it were his-place
when I or she, was sat at the pools
Major, one of their son's then stepped up to become top dog

The family still has the two daughters Kylie and Sophie
now eleven and eleven and a half years of age

They werent guard dogs but the neighbourhood KNEW
they were there With burglaries taking place all around
us we, were never once so-affected

Pets are not "JUST ANIMALS"
but often, I admit! through ignorance, pets can, lead a dog's life
Not everybody can have-empathy and understanding for animals
and these people should leave WELL ALONE

That HOGAN had on occasion (following her departure)
'talked' (quite, not like a dog)
and wormed his way into my lap for comforting
I AM SURE he wanted me to go get her but that was beyond my power
He stayed at my side and would wait at the foot of the staircase for me to return downstairs from the bathroom

Hogan had lost his 'mate' two years previous
to mammary cancer (snap) Lady we called her
aka: Lady Charmaine Kemlex-Katka
her parents:
Kemjohn Lex and Katrina Karenmore (both champions)

I have, had much contact with animals
It isnt HARD to get along
SO LONG AS YOU CARE 'enough' for them

What's this thread all about?
The 'sticky' there, calls it "chit-chat"; mostly to idly :sigh: pass-away time.

However, depending on what you're looking it over for,
Notice you can find some nice :) nuggets, like *Positive-pictures* you can use for Cheering  others, and in Lessons :D

What brings you here? ;) Annie
