Hey Jim, good thing to do on a Sun. pm. How was your church today? Mine was great and very uplifting. Not real cold here yet but supposed to go down again. Been having snow flurries off and on. Temp around the 30's. Rest of the family went tubbing at the park. Can't understand why anyone would want to play out in it. Does that mean I'm getting old??(don't answer that) I do remember going out sledding all day and only coming in when we had to eat or were so froze we couldn't move any more. Now I can't move because of the cold, colder it gets the stiffer my bones get.

Hi B,
I used to go out all winter long cutting firewood and never wore a jacket. Now I want a jacket sitting indoors in winter.

Church was fine, preaching on acknowledging that God is the author of life. We are simply the promotors of His truth..the flyjackets of the books as it were. Interesting.

I was ok with resting, but wife says I was back and forth all day between my study and the living room...about every twenty minutes.

Hope you're a little smarter than the guy on the left!!
Our church we're getting ready for membership drive and that was what it was all about. I don't usually go, really don't think we should go out and beg people to come to church, but just my thought.

I used to spend a lot of time doorknocking. It was a way to meet new people and invite them out. It is much harder to-day with shift jobs and people who post no visitors on their doors.

That's not really my personality. I talk better with people I already know. They don't push you though.
Are you having problems with the site? JoJo can't even get on, I keep on running into ERROR pages.

Well, things are down here to-day too; the temperature. It was so cold this morning the car just sneezed...then started...It needs a new overcoat with wool lining.
