My wife and I try to attend some our grandchildren's activities, but it is a nearly impossible thing to do and keep them all happy.

This month we have one graduating from high school and when we mentioned our plans to attend, our other granddaughter piped up that we needed to attend her 6th grade graduation 4 days earlier. Since both schools are about 50 miles from us, it will both a tiring and an expensive (gasoline plus) week.

Everybody looks and sounds wonderful....we just got home from Paso Robles, we are tired, but had a great time with our kids...I did not have a good internet connection while I was there. We were busy anyway, so a retreat from the web was nice.

Our State is still in serious drought...not relief in sight and wild fires have allready been plaguing us. I will praise the Lord anyway!

O, we did enjoy the kids...haven't had a good visit in a while...too busy or sick.

The grandson has had to have his big toenail removed...it got infected after he kicked a ball...I forgot how boys can get themselves into little problems quite often...plan to speak to him later today by phone.

for your "Good News" Bro' Tom

In a little over ten days
I will attend my first tri-monthly Specialist Heart Nurse appointment
where, I will undergo a battery, of tests, that will determine 'how I stand'
having had my med's increased, since, my last appointment
and, whether, they have had sufficient impact upon my 'condition'

My BP med' [Ramipril] is, already, at maximum dosage [10 mg]
My Beta-blocker [Bisoprolol] has been pretty effective [@ 3.75 mg]
giving me a heart rate of, of just 56-58 bpm

To date, I have not 'enjoyed' any angina discomfort at-all
but I do, carry an alert card...
~for my being a patient with; "Severe LVSD"
_Left Ventricular Systolic and Diastolic Dysfunction

I truly feel comfortable, ~having acclimatized to 'slow motion'
and, my FIRSTLY considering of my ability and strength... BEFORE enjoining myself with any physical task

We do, what we can, with what we have and, from where we are at
also, 'seeking help' with that, which is beyond our means

Hi everyone...I see we are in a holding pattern...just living, that is a good thing...I have been trying to spend more time in prayer and Word...and am preparing to work with my beading hobby...I moved my supplies to a different place. Once i lay things out I want to be able to leave them out, get up and down and not put everything away till I am finished.

You brothers are on my mind and heart...health is a big issue for many of us now ((((hugs to all))))>

I might share some of my photos I took on our recent trip...this is one of eric...holding his coleman lantern after dark...we were experimenting with cameras. This one turned out fuzzy...but i like it here in this image.

The weather today began very cold and windy and we 'expected a day of 'rain'
But, it was not to be and, by midday we had warm sunshine and clear skies
Mary set out the lighting in the garden and I was able to make decent images
[without 'flash']

Experimentation, it leads to discovery and learning
I continue to learn 'ways' in which to preset camera settings
so, to achieve 'a wanted effect'
The use of Paint.NET [image editing software] has provided [to me] startling results
and, a lot of rubbish

I do like [very much what you've done, to your picture [above]
You do have a very good eye, and imagination, for these things
