I don't know what I do each day, but it seems to take a long time...my dear friend Phyllis will be facing a surgery soon...I won't share here what it is for...just a woman thing will suffice.

Went out for small earrands, traffic was busy, I forget what it is like as I don't leave town much anymore.

A new Chinese place opened up in our town...a true sit down, cook it for you fresh...very homey and humble, but good and clean; we are delighted to have it here.



I have over 1,000 followers at Pinterest now...imagine that!!!!! Got way more people interested in my reformed boards than I got with just blogging. PTL!.

Imagine it can be hard...especially the closer you are to a tragedy such as this, yet they are the ones who need it most!

I read a testimony recently online about a Muslim conversion...the person knew he was a sinner and there is no forgiveness or redemption in Islam...to learn that Jesus could forgive his sins...was very apealling to him...the lord brought him to faith and saved him...wow. In the midst of all the terriorist news, their are muslims out there really trying to seek God...really caring about their sins...PTL!

Yes, I do enjoy the photos at Pinterest...I have gotten very lazy with my own camera...:duh:

You never know how a person's heart will be touched by the Lord, so we must pray and trust in His Merciful Love; he alone knows their heart, mind, and spirit...even when all seems lost to us.

When you don't feel well, it is hard to get out there and take pics
Our limited outdoor activities didn't warrant spending the $$ for a nice digital with a zoom (one reason why after my Minolta broke (a 2nd time) I just retired from it)

My grandmother had one; I remember it very well!
Sadly my uncle gave no thought to the family, and just tossed it out when she went into a nursing home

My mother had a manual Singer that looked just like that. I remember that it was a big event when she got an electric one.

My mom had a Singer Sewer too, but I think it was electric, she made most all my clothes for years...even in High School. She made my wedding dress...

I have had a busy day...miss read my watch and got to church 1 hour early...got home for a quick lunch, then went out again to a new members class at the Pastor's house...got home after 3pm...we are going out for dinner. Bet I do nothing tomorrow.

My precious aunt, 26 years older than my mother, had a sewing machine like that. She never married; she was like a grandmother to all of us nieces and nephews. Anyway, I remember sitting in a little chair behind the machine and "helping" her sew when I was a pre-schooler. That dear had the patience of job and then some.

Hello everyone, sorry I have not been around much. I have not been feeling the best, so, I have been taking it easy.

Hope everyone is doing well. It is Fall here in New Zealand, LOL, I am used to my America and it being Spring this time of year, but, it is beautiful. There is a lovely walk way down the center of our little village (Hanmer Springs) and the trees are so pretty, my dog, Steve and I, love to take walks there. Right now, as I type, I can see all the trees shedding their leaves, it is very windy today and we have some really large trees on one side of the house.

I have been working with my little Sheltie pup, Laddie, he is 4 months old now, and I have had him 2 months, man, he is a cutie, he melts my heart every time I look at him.

Well, it is 2:35 pm Tuesday here, so, in the USA, it is Monday, guess, I will visit some more forums. Take everyone and God bless.

It reached 90 degrees here today, so I fear that we're going to have a really hot Summer. My wife and I just got back from the gym, and I think that we're getting addicted to exercise (YEAH!). At least it doesn't hurt as much anymore, and we're gradually increasing everything that we do. Everyone have a great week.
