Yes, Shirley Sis'
I too have so-often had my eyes opened wide
and, could see that His works of love, would really flow so freely
and everything, would fall into place like no other could arrange it, so-perfectly
Having no-control [personally] over the behaviour of others
I would see their efforts to bring me down, waived aside
as then, previously unseen truths were revealed and my steps became safe and sound
I 'found' time, to look around and to observe, all of the facets of my life
that together, were the environment I existed within
and watched [amazed] as each became recognizable blessings
~of little monetary worth, but in their own way, each, was a treasure to behold
Back there in Bristol, when the boys weren't visiting, I had to fetch my supplies myself
With two crutches would summon a taxi to take me to the shopping centre
I would shop with a trolley and take a taxi home again
My apartment was on the first floor [two flights of stairs]
and when I had hauled all of the bags upstairs, I would sit there in my recliner and 'ache-away' ...
'feeling sorry' for, my condition brought no relief ... [?]
Anti-inflammatories, I'd been taking for about a year then brought about
rectal bleeding,
so those were unprescribed very quickly
An aqquaintance [fellow member of a forums I visited for several years]
introduced me to a 'friend' of her's that was having computer problems
and 'helping-out' I became distracted from my own day to day condition
which was when, I became [then] aware, that I was now, looking 'outside of ' myself
Before, becoming 'so-aware', I had been wrapped in thoughts that included;
how very short-lived, my prospects seemed to be [then]
Once my attention was 'distracted'
new possibilities then queued for more attention than I had allowed them [before]
and this, was a life-changing discovery
It was as if a 'door' to recent and old past had been shut
allowing me to focus 'ahead' and, more-importantly, upon others
Ecclesiastes 3... speaks to me, on most days
Everything, has it's time and it's place in our lives

Hello Everyone,
I hope that everyone is having a great week. My wife and I were down one day, feeling bad, and we missed one trip to the gym. We got back on our regular schedule today and just came from our workouts. I know it's doing us some good, but the progress does seem to come slowly.
I don't like the slogan, "no pain, no gain". I see no purpose in putting yourself in pain when you can do things in a more moderate manner and get the same results (eventually). I think that some people are impatient, do too much, and either burn themselves out or injure themselves. I do like the slogan, "use it or lose it", and it seems wise to start slowly and carefully - progressing a little bit at a time.

Ahhh...they did more than just extra blood work!We arrived at the hospital this-morning with 35 minutes to-spare ~before appointment
So I took Mary into the hospital cafe and bought her a tea
We then, wandered along to the cardiorespiratory department and got me signed-in
Some twenty minutes later I was summoned to a side room and was asked to remove my shirt
I had to sort lay/sit on my left-side with my back to the operator
who attached three cardio ribbon sensors to my chest and she then proceeded with the examination
After perhaps 30 minutes of rubbing this ultrasound handset around my upper left chest
she also examined my ileac area ~just below my sternum, pressing DEEP, into my abdomen
and also, my throat area, around that carotid calcified blockage
I will now, await my 'copy', of the report to my doctor, concerning their assessment, of the results
