Hello Everyone,
We had a very nice rain last night, but there was a lot of thunder. Our little Hank, the Shih Tzu, is scared to death of thunder, and someone has to sit up with him until things quiet down. He's my buddy, so I took care of the job.
I hope that everyone had a great weekend.

I used to close the drapes
and play Reggae and [dub] records [a little loudly]
until after the fireworks had ceased
Dogs really freak-out with such thunderous explosions going on around them

But having seen a moose of bear when she was alone in the house we figure, she can get pretty freaked out if she smells their scent in the air, and will pace the house for hours ...with a look of concern as she stares at the back door.
There is no distracting her either
My MIL's Shih Tzu Benji, that we took care of his last year, was inconsolable in storms and would hide in the bathroom until it passed...trembling terribly.

Yes, Laddie will definitely be going with me, I checked air fares and it is not that much extra, and the airline I will be taking, Air New Zealand, takes really good care of the pets, he will love it, my home back in the states has a nice yard, and lots of places for us to walk. He will also no doubt help me study, LOL, he is so much into all I do.
As to the marriage, well, pray, please for us, this is one reason I am leaving, at least for awhile, he is OK with it, and well, we shall see. We both agree that getting my degree that I had to postpone when I came here, will be a big help in all ways.
Anyway, on a happier note, God is in His heaven and all is right with the world. Thank You Jesus.

OK.....I pray this will be a good decision for you...the loss of your father is a big deal...maybe a move so far from home was too much change at one time.
God loves you Susie-Q...He never fails to love you and be faithful to you even when you cannot see him or feel Him near. ((((((hugs))))).
