It's MONDAY \o/


I have been making progress upon the open-book memorial for Rolo
and am now almost 'ready', to engrave the text

Fingers crossed, that my hand is 'steady-enough' to create a tidy font
[once, I begin, I will be committed, ~there will be no eraser to help me]

Just noticed this - are you a knitter, Dave???

Our friend and neighbour Jaqui, liked Mary's Bobble Hat so much
that she has begged me, to make her on [in Black]
I started it earlier and will, finish it, before lunch tomorrow

Being 'black yarn', I am having some difficulty seeing the indiuvidual stitches
because, after a while, the yarn merges in to a homogenous black sheet
I have NEW glasses, but this economy lighting, doesn't help at-all

It is coming along nicely and drying-out quite well
I should be finished balancing the weight and lineage of the text by this weekend
and also, the construction of, a small trestle, to keep it off the soil
~preventing water retention and frost damage later

Hi all, hope all is going well.

It is cold here, and it is JUNE, LOL, hard to get use to it being winter. I heard from friends back home that it is in the 90's there.

I am doing OK, am planning on going home around October 15, will be taking my pup with me, I am excited. I want to continue my college education that I was sort of forced to stop when I came here, since I get a grant and will have to pay close to nothing, I figure I might as well take advantage of it. Steve is not upset at all over it, so, all systems are go.

Laddie, my pup, is great, growing into a lovely dog, we take daily walks when it is nice out, it is good for both of us.

Oh...my...gosh, somewhere deep in the recesses of my mind comes our own dog, Laddie. I'm going to have to ask my brother about that dog.

It's wonderful taking a dog for a walk, so soothing and good!
