Been busy today via Dell.com/support/diagnostics
after several hours I was able to discover what 'drivers' were needed
to run Dell applications and support programs more efficiently

downloaded them to C:\ Dell Drivers and then installed them, in appropriate order
Biggest inconvenience, is not being able, to leave the page unattended

We had a little database hiccough back there
and that 'attempt' at a reply, went, straight 'out the window'

Yes, I am having to reinstall the CD/DVD ROM and also the CD/DVD/RW DRIVES
[not needed thus far]
and I will find 'that gubbridge' on the SYSTEM RESOURCE DISK

Everything, takes it's TIME, and is overcome
with 'one step at a time' [in sequence]

Like; disabling the 'Floppy Disk Seek' as my PC doesn't have one of those

The ability to go from tab to tab [screen to screen] is like 'stop photography'
instead of, waiting, for up to ten seconds for a page to load, and that, is very satisfying too


I am, still working with upgrades that have been issued, since this PC went down ~all those years ago,
but, the finish line, is, in sight

The invite didn't mention for how long the trial will last ....
The size of the download was, 1Gb and, that, was a zipped file
I will have a good looksee

It's Friday, so that means the weekend is almost here. I hope that everyone had a great week and a better weekend.

I'm still with the exercise program faithfully and trying to lose weight. For whatever reason, I gained two pounds this week. Ooooophs - back to the food that doesn't taste so good and hold the potatoes.

Sometimes a food high in sodium will do it...occasionally you just plateau, and need to tweak an exercise or two....then again, sometimes you need a little carb treat to restart your engine

Hubby and I are back to our healthy lifestyle, and doing well

Early this morning (4 AM )a SKUNK patrolled the yard and stunk up the whole house
I will be busy scattering CRITTER RIDDER around the foundation today

This will be so nice Dave...to have your own pc to use again.
Adobe has just announced that it will not sell the Photoshop versions anymore...they are going to CC...Creative Cloud...they want us to rent that program for $20-$50. per month, we will never own it...perks are you get new tools, etc automatically...that is just tooooo much money for me and many folks.

I may put my element 9 back on my pc...that is my most current elements...and I have CS5.

Got some blood work done this am...and I will be seeing a new dr for my phyisical soon.

Our weather is calm and warming for the weekend...we do have fires in the southland...not close, but I don't like any of the fires for any of us.

Thanks Gail, it will take a few days for the tests to get to the dr...I will set up an appt...next week. I had a lot of blood test done in Feb when I had pneumonia...hope I am still ok.


The techi was very good with the needle this morning...that is always nice.

I used to do venipunctures when I was a visiting nurse.
Nothing bothers me more than to see someone all bruised and sore
Hubby was butchered one time; he was a mess for almost 2 weeks from the blessing into his arm tissues

I just stopped in to say a quick hello. It appears that we're going to have a night of severe thunderstorms. We're under a tornado watch until midnight. The first thunderstorm is due in just a few minutes. I'll be praying that we only get rain.
