It is wonderful to be able to really dig into history with re: to a movie these days (considering all the JUNK they put out)

The internet puts history right at our finger tips...saw a time-line for the French Revolution and causes...some of those causes are alive and well in America...if we start starving there will be riots. Riots are in the back of my mind...when the weather works against growing food.

There is cause for concern for sure if things get really tough!

Hi Everyone,

It's c-c-c-cold here, though not as cold as some places, so I should be grateful. I headed out earlier with the intention of going for a physio appointment, but my car battery was flat and I had to ring up and make another appointment. I'm finishing off my lunch now and will shortly be taking Mark to the supermarket. Apart from that I'll just be doing dull old housework.

Our pastor gave us a lovely interpretation of the cloud that took Jesus into heaven after giving His disciples the great commission - the cloud was the Holy Spirit, carrying Jesus up to heaven. I must say, I hadn't heard that interpretation before, but I like it.

Good night Dave.

It is around 5:00 pm here and hot, I should take a walk later, I have not been keeping up with my exercise like I should, shame on me.

I can't sleep and I have so much to do tomorrow. on another note, the presidents speech wasn't too inspiring for me today so I'm glad it was a short one and after a week of temps in the high 60's and even up to 70 this week going to be cold. brrrrr just rambling but it's 5:30am and not much else to do.

Wow Gail! Congratulations! I only learned about nurses when I gave birth to my firstborn, Jessica back in 85...before then I used to think that nurses were just unqualified doctors, . But when they "ministered" to me I realized that they had a special calling that doctor's could not perform. God bless you for the time and energy that you provided and for so long! May you enjoy your retirement fully dear sister...you sooooo deserve it!
