I mainly just want to wish everyone a great week. I give thanks for the good news, including my own. I'm feeling much better. I will continue to pray for those who are ill. There's something about a smile that makes you feel better, so SMILE.

Good evening Golden Eagles.

I don't recall the last night that I slept more than four to five hours an it's leaving me emotionally raw. Sometimes I just wake up, but usually it's my son's alarm going off that awakens me. I can seldom get back to sleep. I usually suffer in silence, but I let him hear about it this morning. Go figure...a 22 year-old unemployed guy who likes to wake up at 6am or earlier!

I'm typing quietly so that I won't disturb your sleep. After all, it's after midnight and you're probably trying to rest. I'd tell your son to put the alarm under his pillow right under his ear. Otherwise, the clock would have to go.

I had read the book eons ago (1987) and we saw the original movie Les Misérables (1998)

I tried to read this book about 15 years ago...could not get interested in it...now I am enjoying it immensely. Saw there 2 older movie versions of the novel on TCM recently...but I watched just part of them.

The bishop was quite an example of loving God and loving one's neighbor.

I Im at the place in the book where Fantine is ill...in the infirmery, hoping to see Cosette. Lots of drama...and sometimes, I research French history to get a time line of the period for them.
