Hope you all had a pleasant weekend....some of you have already bugn a new week...
I spent the morning in church...brought sandwhiches home for our lunch.
Then crashed on the couch and watched football with hubby all afternoon. It is too hot here to be outside.
There is a harvest moon to enjoy for those with clear skies...I saw it last night.
Ithat everyone enjoys the month of October
I will be online much less, for a while
I will continue to post to my own threads and other favourite areas that I am subscribed-to
I feel led to announce this in advance,
so that members are not overly concerned
by what may become, a very obvious curtailment of my activities, here in GE
I AM, 'well' .... please, do not become anxious

It was a good, relaxing day. My son and his girlfriend were over for a few hours.
He's hoping for a part-time job to supplement his full-time one while he pays old bills off.
I don't think he will have time to visit when that happens.
Another day home with my wife and away from hospitals - YEAH! God has been so good to us. I know that we take many things for granted, especially the smaller things. So, we have much to give thanks for.

We are also taking a back seat to our kids these daysDave and Gail will be missed around here, but most of us have such seasons. I did not get to church today, but will next week, Lord willing. Dave and Gail - you are both a huge blessing among us here in GE. Thank you for all you do to bless us all, and I'm glad you're not leaving CF!
It's Monday and I hope everyone has a great week. I was just thinking about a portion of Scripture and want to share it with you:
Philippians 4:4-9 KJV Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
It's a wonderful thing to have peace with and from God.
I have enjoyed the gentle chatting here...I seem to be tired a lot...I think I am not getting enough sleep "for me"...need to work on that with naps.
Graice got a walk very early and I drove about 20 minutes (one way) to get my shingles vaccine today.
After a nap...(hopefully) Gracie will get a bath.
I am glad things are turning around for him financially; that can be toughDave, yes I am very proud of my son for aiming to get this elephant off his back. Like me, he finds owing money very stressful. He turned 19 and then for a year or two, thought he was big man; he learned fairly quickly. I suspect once he's got this behind him, he will feel ready to take his relationship with his lady to the next level!
Gail, so glad you and Dave will be around.
Shirley, so glad you enjoyed your dinner. Hope you get your rest. I didn't sleep enough last night; maybe tonight will be better. I knew I shouldn't have let Krysti pour me that cup of coffee last night, but it smelled so good.
Tom ~ Praise god
I hope everyone is well, and that you get your needed rest Shirley
Today has been in slow motion for me; not getting much done...so here I am visiting
I woke up with mild vertigo from an allergy flare with all the weather changes; my head and one ear is 'stuffy'.
Having been down this road before.... my meds have been taken and it will pass....so I am just laying low.
We got some needed chores done, took a 'stroll' down the road for fresh air, and after this rest we will be headed to the vet for Penny's check up.
Good to see you all ~ be blessed
