  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Gracie gets her shot in the morning then some friends of Larry have invited us for dinner.

We will watch the football game tonight...there has been a lot of emotional highs and lows with the games so far...the regular refs were on strike :doh:. They will return tonight! Mush to everyone's relief.

I get nervous at times too :hug:

We are done running around for the week (except for Church and dinner Saturday evening).
Tomorrow will be a rainy day here so we will just putter around, and hopefully get a walk in between rain drops ;)

Yeah that ref issue was a mess on so many counts; I don't follow the game well, but did see the terrible calls they made :doh:

Monday Penny has her exam and shots; poor baby :(

This is my wife's first day home from the hospital, and we are enjoying it. She is trying to rest some to make up for having interrupted rest at the hospital for 7 nights. She's also glad to be away from the hospital food and the limited choices, even though the hospital food was good. I'll just say that it's great to be home together. :thumbsup:

Thanks Marsha, we are sort of dressed up tonight...for us...LOL.

I have never met the wife, we donated towards a bike ride she will be doing in Morro Bay for MS research.

Another day home with my wife and away from hospitals - YEAH! God has been so good to us. I know that we take many things for granted, especially the smaller things. So, we have much to give thanks for.
