It's still gloomy outside here, but we're getting a few decorations up today.

My good friend, Pat, stopped by. Monday she's having knee replacement surgery. They said she can drive in three weeks.

We had sun shine all day...got a little bit warm during the afternoon walk...we are slowly putting some lights around the inside for Christmas cheer.

Lovely weather over here too this weekend.

I put our Christmas tree up and it looks rather nice. I might get some little lights to scatter over it as well this week.

Our plans are being finalized for a family gathering at my daughter's house for Christmas. All of the kids and grand-kids will be there. We are really looking forward to it.

There is nothing here to depress or, make miserable

Tomorrow morning we get to see the back of our HEAVY 3 seater sette and matching armchair
and see it replaced, with a cream leather two seater and matching armchair
As my recliner is also of similar material [leather look and same 'colour'
it is going to be a very comfortable Christmas raise:

We are still busy with decorations [one step at a time]

I had a busy day...earlier...did a lot before church, then came home and felt badly. Did get a nice dinner cooked and rested a lot.

We might get a small cold front coming thru at the end of the week.

Monday was good here

We were 'up', at 6 am :o and oversaw delivery and removal of furniture
Later, we attended the 'final' Christmas Card making 'class' of 2012
After that, we went to the post office [at the Shopping Precinct]
and I posted off 'parcels' to Bristol and, yet more cards to America /Australia and the UK
I have a further dozen to send but, £26 / $39 is enough postal expenditure, for one week

Tomorrow, we will do the final class of ceramics [for this year]
and will start a new 'term' [semester] in January
I have only the 'umbrellas' to finish off now
and I will paint them with ceramic colour suspensions ~the next time I see them

Nice to see you both!

It was a warm and wet day here, so we stayed inside and did some chores, reading, and Tai Chi.
Penny and I also made a couple runs down to the mailbox (on the road across the street) for exercise; the new mailman was late.

It seems my daughters state funded child care was cut for some reason, so we will be helping to care for our grandsons during vacations
