It is very quiet in here today; everyone must be out enjoying good weather (I hope)

I will be offline for the rest of this day, most likely.
We have a heavy line of string storms approaching within the hour, and the storm threat will continue through tomorrow morning,
as a strong front comes through (bringing relief to the heat and humidity).

My daughter, her new beau, and our 2 grandsons are also coming for a chicken BBQ within the hour.
She is making potato salad, hubby made cucumber salad with cukes from his garden, and we have corn on the cob,
with strawberry shortcake for dessert

Hi Gail...I went out, tried to go to church, but i left...I cannot stand the loud music anymore...I was pretty upset...guess my heart really is with a certain online ministry, their teaching and music...Iam going to quit thinking about plugging in to a local church...then i don't have to worry about my personal health problems so much either...
Plus, it is a lot hotter today and more humid...don't have to tell you that it is not so great to be out and about.

I did get a walk with Gracie in last night after dark...not sure we can do that today tho...the weather has changed for the worse.

We may finally get one in tomorrow, after the front/storms pass and it brings drier air

Its monday....the house is warm inside...81 degrees at 3:30 am today....I will lay low for this week I think. But, we are really fine...just waiting for Fall.

We are getting a lovely reprieve from our oppressive heat and humidity today, and
I hope you get a break from yours as well

No big plans for us this week so far.....We will likely get a walk in (the first one in DAYS).

good morning Eagles! We're down to our last 50 boxes or so. Alan installed the blinds so it's a lot cooler up here now. We have a new computer so I'm able to sit now and then for a rest. I hope that we don't have to move again for a very long time. Still on the mend but hoping to return back to work part time in september. How is everyone's summer going?
