my legs must still be able to manage ....

I am presently @ ten stones / 140 lbs.... another 7-8 lbs would be okay
~is what I would hold as 'normal' [for, me]

I struggle as is with the stairs ?

Stairs, they are a workout where ever they must be climbed. Our walk today was shopping and that sure was hours of steps , then carry all of it in the house.

Yes, STAIRS.... Thankfully, I can have a rest on any ONE of them phewww!!!

I have coped with more 'walking', than I felt comfortable with, at the time
Mary has slowed her pace some too, so as not to appear, like she is running on ahead
