It is a lazy day here because of the weather; we will just sit tight through the inclement weather the next couple days

Pretty much the same going on here...for the same reason....the weather is very hot and "THEY"....say be careful not to over heat....man and beast.

You type, the member's name in the 'friends box' and then click INVITE
When the member accepts, you will see their avatar in the Friends List

To reply to visitor messages ~ click View Conversation
this will take to to that Member's profile page
and your message/reply will be added above their post ?

Hope everyone has a nice day. It's partly overcast here, but feels great outside, low 70s! We had a good rain in the wee hours of the morning, but no storms. Going to hang out at home, I suppose...maybe do a little reading.

We are hoping this is the hottest day of a heat wave...and temps will cool a bit tomorrow....sure hope so...we simply cannot go outside and we cannot use ac every hour, it costs too much. Fans do help, but i cried out to the Lord today....I am sort of baking....

We are now under a tornado and flash flood watch through 9pm.
It is very humid but breezy and with the rain (and higher gusts with the storms), it feels cooler than the 80 it is.
We sure do need this rain though

There are areas south west of us that were hot badly just a year ago, and they have a warning up now; praying they are safe.
Most likely we could get a severe storm , but are still in the watch....so watch, we will

Yep...I would be watching for sure....we had earthquakes this week....just closer to the coast...I did not feel them....But we all know we are sitting on fault lines that is our warning....just living in the area prone to quakes.

The threat is over and I haven't heard of any twisters touching down south of us, thankfully!

There is a fault line that goes through New England; they say we will have a big one some day.

I have felt only one minor quake here, and we have had a few.
I won't ever forget the sensation; it stopped us all in our tracks (we were in the parking lot of a supermarket).
Hubby said it rattled the house, but back then we lived near a rail road track, so he thought it was that until neighbors started talking and it came on the news.

The really big ones, I cannot imagine living through; the news coverage makes me cry as it is.

So be safe my friend

It is a bit cooler (75) but very humid, with more storms coming later.
I expect we will be dripping at Church again this weekend
With any luck, the cloudiness today will keep the Church cool (it is a small country Church).

Hi everyone~It is going to hot again here in good ole Cle Elum, it took awhile for the heat to get here, but when it did, it made up for lost time.

I have experienced earth quakes, when I lived in California and also here, I hate that feeling, LOL, the last one we felt, a few years back, I was in a store, it felt like I was getting dizzy and could not walk, turned out, it was the "rolling" type of earth quake, ugh, I hate them.

That iceberg looks cool, we need some of that coolness here.

Angelwind, I just noticed when I visited your pretty page that you love animals and riding horses, I love animals, I have two sweet kitties, and I use to teach horseback riding in Arizona, horses are so awesome as are all of God's creatures.
