Thank God for your grace filled moments ~ now praying for your relief

It is warmer here than forecast, but we will attempt to walk in an hour when it is more shaded; at least the humidity is low.
Most of my chores are done, and got the bills paid; just getting a bite to eat, and will finish up after the walk.

I made it to the store earlier...and we went out for dinner...we have one nice restaurant in town....good food and service they serve mexican food. We went there...usually do about once a week. Boy, we just don't like to drive 20 minutes to a half hour to eat out anymore.

It is 96degrees here at 7:30pm....oooooo, it is hot.

When I am tempted to moan, I will remember YOUR weather

Today is errand day; we will have lunch out for a small treat.

We are in a climbing heat wave...Friday should have us at 112degrees....

I was awake a lot last night, will not walk today...but I feel ok.

I enjoy those errand days, with lunches out, especially when the weather is nice. The restaurant we ate at last night was packed with people...the waitress thought folks were trying to get out of the heat, think she was right.

....we still have a comfortable home...it is here, not burned out or shaken down...PTL!!!!!

Update:


Recent correspondence between my consultant and my doctor [I get copies]
ADDS; that I now have, some mild tricuspid regurgitation, also
[ie: as well as, mild to moderate mitral regurgitation]

My beta blockers, ARE keeping down my heart rate [I check regularly]
The only drawback so-far, is that I am feeling rather beat [all day]
and have little energy to get on and catch up ~where I left the decorating

Mary is a little anxious re: my meds; creating a zombie
But, I must still 'adjust' to the meds ~it's only 'day three' of beta-blockers

Naps, seem to claim me, without exercise of any kind, having first been undertaken
This will take some getting used-to

Mary is used to you being alert and active, in spite of your problems...so are we all...

Thank goodness Mary can keep an eye out and contact the doctor if there is any major concern!
Hopefully your body will adjust soon, and you will be back to your normal (if not modified) routine.

I was up early again...got a window cleaned before the sun was too hot...it is too hot now to do much...we will be sitting with our dog and books.

Yep...we are up between 3:30 and 4am in this heat....now I did have a little nap....because we don't sleep too well right now....

I have been really happy anyway lately....PTL!

And we have the RIGHT to nap as we please at this age
I actually never was a 'nap' person unless I was sick (or up with babies), but since my thyroid illness, I can nod off any time

I am so happy YOU are happy

Hubby and I are also very relaxed, peaceful, and happy, these days re: our retirement; what a blessing! PTL

Same here; I never felt the same after!

It is wonderful not to be pinned down; hubby is enjoying it with me more each day

Not as hot, but very humid here too, and stops you in your tracks.....it will be stormy and muggy here until Sunday.
