Our MH is 28 feet, very modest compared to most...no slides. We have not used it much lately...I cannot get hubby interested in driving it and I have never driven it.

I did get a nap...really needed it today. I am staying off my feet more...they hurt. LOL
I am in a very good mood tho. It is too hot and humid to walk here also. I could do it alone...maybe...but Gracie gets tooooo hot quickly.

This kind of weather will be over in a few weeks. The UK is really getting flooded.

Well...we are getting the house painted...

Hubby goes to Alaska next month for a fishing trip...our oldest son is going with him...he has been extremely excited for months about the trip.

I have something planned for October, but this has been a stay at home year for us. It feels just fine too.

When my MIL's dog (Benji) died, we said we were going to travel...then we adopted Penny, and decided to stay home (we are homebodies anyway)

Of course with hubby's contract job, there are no benefits and he had to work when asked.
Now with no work = no income and living off retirement savings, so we are pinching pennies.

There is plenty to do here to keep from being bored...painting, cleaning storage areas...woohoo

We are home bodies too....more so as time goes by. Hubby has a nice retirement from the Edison Co...and still is working PT for a sattelite Co. Our house is paid for...the every day bills do add up, but so far we are able to give away to others...I like that.

The real giving is when you give and do without for yourself...we don't do much of that kind of giving.

It sounds like everyone is having a good time, but I must say that I don't like painting. I'm not very good at it, and I always make a mess of some sort. Maybe that's why I don't like it very much.

It's Friday - everyone have a great weekend. I'm about to take my wife out to eat at our favorite Chinese buffet. My favorite there is their hot and sour soup.

We are home bodies too....more so as time goes by. Hubby has a nice retirement from the Edison Co...and still is working PT for a sattelite Co. Our house is paid for...the every day bills do add up, but so far we are able to give away to others...I like that.

It felt weird to pay off the house...now it feels very good.

Hot and sour soup is one of my hubby's favorites too.

I was outside in the MH for quite a while...our bedroom and closet is done...it took all day...we have a wall of french doors that took a lot of work...they look brand new.

We will put away a lot of things over the weekend...then empty the rooms for Monday's work.

These guys are very good at prepes then...they have made this messy work much easier to have done....for sure.

My giraffe is one of my favorite LOS...and the colors...the sheep made me think of us...the Lord knows each one of His sheep by name.

We have been up for a while...and both of us are rested...glad to not be painting today. I got Gracie out for a walk...it was not too hot or humid.

We have a lot of work to do, putting things in order and sorting what will be given or thrown away.

We are not as hot and humid today...I have done a lot of work here inside...way more to go...Hubby is going to bring home salads for our lunch.

Back ......
After Church we had to get to the store to replenish our fruit supply for the week, and it is so hot here that hubby insisted we eat out (no central air in the house).
Even with 2 fans going (one in the window at that), my small computer room really heats up
By evening it is overwhelming and I have to shut it down and sneak into the room with the ac for a bit
