i do that with jess every year ,i make her a dogs cake and buy her a new tendy

Those little foxes do their nasty little work on the nerves...I hate my pets to throw up...and to be witjout water is a big deal in my view...

It is miserable when you feel like a having good cry at the drop of a hat at inopportune times
I have had a lot on my mind for a couple weeks now, that needs a release I guess
Prayer times have been very dry and distracting; very difficult in surrendering some things lately.

I am grieving over OBama Care...but not surprised at how things are turning out...goodbye America.

Here in MA his plan is a benefit to us; we would have even greater concerns for retirement if it had been overturned.
I don't agree with it all, and don't care to discuss... just saying re: that fact

She is settling down now and napping; it happens if she eats and then gets excited.
Plus a relatively new treat added the past week or so may be to blame, as she has spit up that foamy stuff even before today.
So we are having her relax and stopped the new treats until we can see what the cause is.
I am sure she is fine otherwise ;shih tzus can have delicate tummies

We have to watch Gracie too...being very careful of what she eats...she threw up a lot when we first got her...later we learned she was eating tree bark. We have had 2 big vet bills from her tummy upsets...have done very well since the last episode as i am much more alert to her needs and ways.

Oh for sure..... she is our 'baby girl' as we call her

We have to watch Gracie too...being very careful of what she eats...she threw up a lot when we first got her...later we learned she was eating tree bark. We have had 2 big vet bills from her tummy upsets...have done very well since the last episode as i am much more alert to her needs and ways.

With Obama Care we went from paying $1400/month to $232/month for health insurance on both of us; we already paid out $14,000+ this past year.
We must report proof of coverage on our taxes and will be fined if we are not insured.

When you have no income and are living off retirement savings (as we have over the past year at times, and no work the past month).... and can't collect social security until October 2013 it is a concern; and at that, it is not $100% SSI at 65; they are pushing us to wait until we are 66
The bottom line is we must work but there are NO jobs for people our age in this area

I am trying very hard to 'let go and let God'; my mental/physical health is on the line; stress affects my adrenals/thyroid negatively for sure.

Ps....maybe that cry is good medicine for you...((((((hugs)))))).

That big cry is coming soon....it has been one of those days (month actually LOL)....and we just lost our water again (no showers or toilet).
They said there are several leaks to be repaired so it will be a while yet

The Lord knows what is best and how much I can take...but He is pushing my limits

i get low alot and find it hard somtimes has i have dyslexia
so at times my speiling is not good
so i have to right words down,

I look to the Lord's return and His perfect government for the whole world...my goodness what a difference He will make...

I am trusting in amazing grace to qualify me for participation in His kingdom.

Yes, this forum and friends are a great blessing!
We all have our strengths and weaknesses, but we balance one another perfectly I think
I am sorry for your trials ...we all have a cross to bear, and must trust the Lord will be merciful and give us sufficient grace to endure

I ended up taking Penny for a stroll; the road is shaded although it is still warm (80).
The bugs were terrible...little fruit flie gnats at your nose and mouth, deer flies around my head and the skeeters were just coming out and buzzing in my ear and I came home to find that the water still isn't up :o

I tell you...what a day it has been...and it isn't over yet

Lord have mercy on my weakness I know there are others much worse off

At times like these,
I am so grateful I was raised in a once-communist country,
where
1. we grew 97% of our own food.
2. the hot-water heater was a big pot on the wood stove.
3. the toilet was a pipe going into the septic-tank, pumped yearly.
4. the Electricity was for one lamp, or candle-light.
5. (having never watched someone pray, & no awareness of a Bible, &
never been inside no church), yet at age 5 God called me *one* of his Beloved children.
6. Healthy-imaginations & thinking... assured our simple joys were plentiful
