The fear of hell doesn't save the people who really never intend to kill themselves but rather just focused on escaping constant pain. They believe they already live in hell. The pain can be physical, mental, or emotional pain. Many don't think God cares about them anyway so don't really believe that heaven is an option.

If you are thinking about committing suicide, you aren't really in your right mind at the time.

I suppose you're right. These people need prayer---because they appear to be deceived by the devil and bought into the lies that God doesn't care about them and the pain will stop when they die.

God is a detached and disinterested game master who simply sits back and watches to see who will win. Christ altered the rules of the game somewhat but everyone is still entirely on their own.
That is NOT christianity. It is Deism.

FACT: God is VERY interested in each and every one of us and feels our pain.

Ok that I get. He feels our pain and is interested in that one sense.

However, I do not believe for even one nanosecond that God is actively involved with anything that happens on Earth. He does not have a hand in any of it. He watches nearby as humans make their choices.

As long as babies can become so tormented that they attempt suicide I will never believe that God is involved in our lives. We are totally on our own while we are in this world.

If anyone is in Hell, you cannot change it, so it is best to direct your time and energy elsewhere. Such as the people who are living, who still have a chance to be helped. Help them to avoid Hell by sharing the Gospel message and encouraging them.

Evangelist: "Oh yea so there are babies burning in an eternal torture chamber because they didn't trust that the holy spirit would eventually give them the strength to endure constant unending abuse in life. Suicide is a one way ticket to Hell no matter what. Would you like to hear the good news of Jesus Christ?"

Other people: "He is rescuing those babies from the eternal torture pit?"

Evangelist: "Erm no those babies will burn forever because they didn't accept Jesus. Would you like to hear how to save your own soul from the same fate?"

Other people: "Is somebody else going to save those babies from the eternal bonfire of misery?"

Evangelist: "No Jesus and God the father will keep them there and there is no greater power. Don't worry they are filthy dirty sinners and they deserve it. Would you like to accept Jesus today?"

Other people: *running away as fast as they can*

That sounds like a pretty crappy evangelist.
