cheapest digital camera with quality?

I'm looking for the best deal on a digital camera. I have seen some at $100 or less but I have no idea what to look for to see if they take quality pictures. Any suggestions? I really can't get one if I have to pay more than $100. I know I'm cheap : )

You may want to try FujiFilm's cameras, but I doubt their prices are that low. Good prices, and good cameras, though.

Agreed I like Fuji Cameras and most are reasonably priced.

I have the S5500 - great camera that I'm starting to get accustomed with in terms of the manual settings. I'm not sure about US prices since I'm in Australia, but you might get a lower end Kodak EasyShare for $100US - probably won't have optical zoom but should still take reasonably good images...

mine is caled a vista cam freedom LX, its made by Ezonics cost around $70 and it works great. I would reccomment it to anyone. you can do a search for ezonics and find it online

My advice, don't let price be your top priority. Go with a brand that says "photography." Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Fuji, etc. I am a diehard Canon user. You can get their low end Powershot models for under 150.00 from bhphotovideo.com. A few extra dollars will go a long way when it comes to a good camera.
