Ahh. Difficult. We live in a fallen world. I am not going to condemn anyone for their choices, but these are choices and we must give account for our choices, both good and bad.

What is the fundamentalist perspective on Chaz Bono, for those of you who are unaware Chaz is the former daughter of Sonny and Cher who came out as a lesbian a while back and has now undergone a surgical sex change and legally changed her sex. apparently he's [?] causing quite a stir on "dancing with the stars" so what do you guys think ?

I think that we're to show compassion and love for others who are not saved, regardless of what their issues are, whether they be transgender, bi, gay, lesbian, straight, or whatever. We don't know the answers or the whys to what they are enduring. I see their sexuality and transgender issues as something that is between themselves and God. I don't feel comfortable showing them anything but love and acceptance as I would any other human being that needs to come to know Jesus Christ.

What I don't care for are the outrageous, hateful sneers and jeers from the homophobic and those without compassion for whatever these people are dealing with in terms of gender issues. Christians are to love, hope, evangelize, and pray for others to find Christ; I don't feel it's our place to judge people's sin in any way except to guide and teach, in love. Until such a person has experienced salvation, they aren't going to be interested in dealing with their sin issues anyway.
