  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I dont think God is cold hearted towards us, its just that I dont think he really cares to go out of his way to bless us with earthly things, since thats not what God considers important.

Who's to say that God's giving us an "earthly thing" will not teach us a higher lesson? I think through many of my successes...valedictorian in high school, for example... I learned that we can indeed achieve great things with God's help, what it means to give all glory to Him, how to be thankful, and other lessons.

Did God have to work it out so I was valedictorian? Nope. Did He do it, though? Yep, and I have the medal and videotape of my speech to remember it by.

God gave us the Ultimate Gift in Christ. Why, then, would He refuse to give us the lesser gifts, when it will glorify Him more?
