Natural selection is always ongoing. It's part of the evolutionary process.
Prime examples includes antibiotic resistance in bacteria, pesticide resistance in insects and plants, and the effect invasive species have on ecosystems.

Evolution is a description of the consequences of changing life in a changing environment... not a moral lesson or behavioral imperative.So then why do we fight them?
