You said she never spoke to God. We do that through prayer. God doesn't carry on conversations with people. That's not how He answers prayer.

She believes, has accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior, goes to church and prays regularly... she's a typical Christian.

That's good, though I'm not not sure what a "typical Christian" is.

Not sure how you have confidence in Yahweh over confidence in Thor, though.

A regular church goer that's read the bible for herself, but not a person that has it as the main focus of their life. You don't see people like that on here because they don't feel the need to converse with any depth on the topic of their faith.

Have you asked your mother that?

I have tried, but she despises having theological conversations with me. She mostly shuts it down by saying something along the lines of "I believe it because I do, end of conversation".
