where do we ask questions regarding the pets? as a CFpet worker I am very curious and have a few questions but to start, will they retain thier levels or will they be reset to level 0 with the 'new' pets?

having just gone through a major, major, major software upgrade at my work (I'm still exhausted) - let me say I don't envy those who've been putting in all the "behind the scenes" work.

if what my company just experienced is typical - then some things won't be as bad as anticipated, others may be more difficult.

We will still have characters, but will be an either or with the avatars

This confuses me - if I have my character then I can't have my picture of my grandboys? That makes me very sad - both are important to me. I'm quite proud of being able to share my precious grandboys with others and my character shows my role as rep fairy to the repaholics.

That's not good at all. Most of the Repaholics SubForum ins built off of that terminology. Why change the name?

This is scaring me, change the name instead of reputation? And have cartoon dolls instead of what we have? hmmm, and I just renewed my site supporter subscription :-(

I'll have to go figure out what was decided exactly - I think the plan is to make the profile picture the new avatar. Each of us will have a photo album attached to our profiles, so a profile picture is redundant.

There are supposed to be alot of added photo features as part of new software.

There isn't an exact time. Sunday Evening - Monday Evening.

Since we DON'T know for sure exactly how pets are going to work and a lot of people have put a lot of time, effort, and love into caring for pets--would it be reasonable to say that effective Sunday night care for your pet as if you plan to not be able to see it for 2 or 3 days?

That way people can sort of begin to make plans now such as purchasing extra food or putting them in day care, etc. --JUST TO BE SAFE.

purchasing extra food will not help if we do not have access to them to feed, the better way to prepare would be to put them into day care for a day that way thier stats will not change (they will not get hungry - they are put on suspended stats in day care anyway)

I plan to have my pet in day care, just in case. My feeling is if there's an easy precaution to take, I'll take it.
