Sorry, didn't see this one. Didn't mean to ignore your question. You may go insane without TV and cell phones or other technology, but that is not a true statement. Technology is great. But if your dependant on it and not on Elohim the Creator then.......................... that is sin?
Are you asking me if I think technology is a sin or if I think depending on technology is a sin? I am not quite for sure why the question mark is there. I will try and answer any way. If we become dependent on technology to where it replaces our dependency on God then I would say it is a sin.
This sunday I looked around during the sermon (since it was for seekers anyway) and noticed that many people were on there Ipads, cell phones, and other media devices. Now some of course were browsing through their Bibles on line but I guarantee that many were checking their stupid facebook status. I even saw one literally playing a game on his Ipad, and he was on the worship team. Our pastor now says instead of get out your bibles get out your Ipads, go to facebook and post that you are at church. Sure that sounds like a good witness tool, but I can't help to think that the reason why he tells them to do that is for free advertisement. Again, we have forgotten how o communicate with each other, even in church. Soon we will all stay home and have on line church, virtual communion, and sim city baptizers. Where does it stop?
