Celibacy is intentionally staying unmarried and abstaining from sex because you choose to do so. It is usually for religious reasons and usually meant to be a lifelong commitment.
Abstaining while single but wanting to be in a relationship or open to it isn't the same as a commitment to celibacy.
I'm not opposed to a separate sub forum, but I think the topic can fit in well as individual threads in this singles forum that already exists. Our sub forums don't get enough traffic or activity as is. Very few people are committed celibates.
Either way, it doesn't apply to me, as I have already been married once. Celibacy threads in the single section wouldn't be a bother. I just wouldn't participate if I didn't have anything applicable to contribute.
