Christmas comes from the beginning of Luke and Matthew.

Christmas is the celebration of that.

Christmas is a celebration of that ...? hmm by an extremely small amount of folks .. most buy Christmas presents , talk about how important togetherness and family is and never mention even the name of Jesus .. let alone anything else about him .

no , on the whole Christ-mas is little more then catholic traditionalism and secular commercialism .

I do find it of interest that the lord Jesus directly instructed us to break bread and partake of the fruit of the vine in a certain manner .. and to do that in remembrance of HIM .. but at no time did he tell us to celebrate the time of his birth ..
nothing is wrong with celebrating the time of his birth - and it is a wonderful time to celebrate and a great tool of the gospel - but one cannot say it has its origins in the bible . because it does not .
being therefore not biblical ,nor christian -which follows the bible - it can be reasoned that its origins are "pagan" (the word pagan used as a description of that which is not "Christian" )
