Cda credential questions -

I couldnt find any where on the webstie where it talked about this, so i thought i would ask, Is there different regulations for different states? if i take my CDA test in Missouri and i move to Louisiana would i have to retake the test and redo my resource file or take the classes over ?


Child development associate credential anyone know the state requirments for Louisiana?

I'm not in this field you are asking about, and really don't know much about it other than what I've heard. But here is some info you may want to read, but the best plan would be to contact someone In LA to see if it can be transferred if you take it in another state.

It looks like the DCA is a national test (see their site - http://www.cdacouncil.org/CDA_WHAT.htm)
The Center Child Care Licensing Requirements info by the fed government shows LA as needing a vocational program plus one year of experience for directors, (http://www.nccic.org/pubs/cclicensingreq/cclr-directors.html), however, I would check out this document on the various careers in child care and the education required, as established by the LA Government (http://www.doa.louisiana.gov/osr/emr/0711EMR014.pdf)
