The correct Truthful reply from you should of been:

Acts does condemn the star of David as the star of remphan... Looking up the star of remphan I see now where they got their star of David....

Why would the pope wear that star of remphen for????

I've made my case no matter how foolish your replys...

Queen of heaven and it's origins - another piece of the puzzle

The queen of Heaven was:

Astarte the goddess of Venus
called Ishtar by the Assyrians and Babylonians
called Ashtoreth by the Phoenicians and some canaanites

worship is denounced in Jeremiah 7:18 44:17-25

and what do they do to honor the queen? Why just ask a catholic

I could add: called Mary by the Catholics.

They offered cakes
they offered drink
they offered incense

the same thing catholic do for Mary....

Hail Mary queen of heaven

And just like the hat and star of David AGAIN the RCC uses Denounced symbols or practices...

I know this is also over your thinking but the reason the star on the popes mitre has a dot in the middle of the symbol is because that's the all seeing eye of Horus - the new age Christ.... Same one that's on the dollar bill...

The star is an egyptian symbol hence the two triangles or CAPSTONES

The RCC has Christ dead on a cross despite that He rose again.... I know the Rcc has told Catholics that this is to remember his beatings.. Always have some reason for wrong things...

Christ was in shame on the cross and the Rcc keeps him there...
Christ has Not risen Nor has salvation been provided for us...
The devil loves this thought..

Just like the long hair that makes Jesus a shame
this has jesus in the only shameful time in his life...

Heb 12:2 the finnisher of our faith (ofcourse not on this cross) Christ hasn't finnished our faith still dead on the cross... Endured the cross - despising the shame (of the sin upon him)

And you keep him in this shame daily and no salvation offered..

When a believer falls away to unbelief - he cannot be renewed to Christ

Heb 6:6 shows us that by falling away you cannot come back to god seeing how you would then place Christ back upon the cross (to die for your sins- again) you put him to open shame - and you do this everyday - keeping on the cross is shame

and with long hair to boot! Double shame you do....

Exodus 20:3-5

You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself a graven image,
or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth;
you shall not bow down to them or serve them;

Yet the RCC violates all these things

you have images of Jesus Mary saints and all sorts of other images of crosses and this is condemned by God... No matter how you try and paint it

why? Because it tells us that God is a jealous God who does not like other man made images to compete with him...... Simply we are Not to make these things...

Let's hit the rosary while here - Matt 6:7

When you pray do not use Vain (worthless) repetitions as the Heathen do

yet this is what the rosary is all about - again god says no to this and the Rcc says yes!

Have you ever watched mother Angelica do this on ewtn?

The nuns repeat it over and over and look at their faces - dead no joy
lifeless repeating - a pagan practric denounced by God as worthless

why do you think the star on the mitre of the Pope is the star of Remphen?
that seems like a rather uncharitable thing to assume

“Queen of peace, pray for us!

. . . Our gaze is directed toward you in great fear, to you do we turn with ever-more insistent faith in these times marked by many uncertainties and fears for the present and future of our planet. Together we lift our confident and sorrowful petition to you, the first fruit of humanity redeemed by Christ, finally freed from the slavery of evil and sin: hear the cry of the pain of victims of war and so many forms of violence that bloody the earth. Clear away the darkness of sorrow and worry, of hate and vengeance. Open up our minds and hearts to faith and forgiveness!” —Pope John Paul II
[bless and do not curse]

The pope prays TO MARY - the pope relys on Mary to do the things Jesus is suppose to do.

The pope looks to Mary in great fear but the bible tells us to fear only God
and he looks to Mary to intercede YET the bible tells us between us and God ONLY ONE Mediator - the person of Jesus Christ - Yet the Rcc says nope Mary and the saints too!

notice between God and Man there is only ONE - so that would leave Mary and the dead catholic saints out of the loop would it not - no where does the bible tell us to pray in any form to those who are dead!

Let me re-reply on this - the star of remphan and the star of David are the same thing as per God
but somehow when the pope uses it, it's not the same - that's what your told

yet if you look they all 3 are made up of two triangles (capstones) and a star is made from a single line Not two triangles... It's the same thing - I want you to see that through these postings on mine the Rcc uses the same thing over and again of pagan religions - just be patient cause I have more and they paint a picture when done - shame I have o do the whole picture before people get what it is

Rhamiel said: O angel of God, my holy guardian, given to me from heaven, enlighten me this day, and save me from all evil. Instruct me in doing good deeds, and set me on the path of salvation

KNOWLEDGE BOMB replies: could I have the verse that says we have guardian angels please?

Oh my mistake - it simply LOOKS LIKE the star - must be someother star
that just happens to be the same thing exactly - you'll make excuses for anything....
it is the "same thing exactly"? you know that the star of Remphen is a gold star made up of two intersecting triangles made up of all equal angles?
or did you just see a star and try to find the worst star reference in the entire bible?

Guardian angels
well there is the Gospel according to Matthew 8:10 where Jesus talks about letting the little children come to him "for their angels behold the face of God"

In Acts of the Apostles chapter 12 Peter is set free from prison but when the other disciples see him coming they assume he is still in prison and they are seeing "his angel"

and numerous references in Psalms about God sending ministering angels to look after His followers

At Peter's square:

In the center of the square is an obelisk, a phallic symbol dedicated to the worship of the sun. The Vatican is built on the hill where the temple of Janus the sun god stood. Alongside St. John’s Lateran, which is the church where the Pope is crowned and where he speaks infallibly, is the obelisk of Tutmoses III, which was dedicated to Reharakti, the sun god.

There's soooo much I need to add pictures -----

Matt 8:10 - you must of given the wrong verse - Matt 19:14 has nothing about angels.... Luke 18:16 also has nothing about angels - do you have another verse?

Acts 12:7-8 - this is an angel of the Lord and no where says it's peters angel.
Acts 12:11 the lord has sent His angel - not peters

The last part about ref in psalms - sending angels to help is NOT the same thing as a personal guardian angel

Janus was not a sun god
he was the roman god of beginnings and ends
the god of doorways and of custodians
and a protector of the city of rome

most of the gods in Roman mythology get their "personality" from the gods of the greek pantheon
Janus has no greek counter part.

I like learning about mythology, your information seems to be faulty
could you quote a source to show Janus as a sun god?

also, I believe the obelisks were brought to Rome by the ancient pagan Romans to show their dominance over the Egyptians? Latter when the Roman Empire became more Christian, the obelisks were kept as to show Christ's victory over the pagan empire of Rome

also sometimes the 5 pointed star was used to represent the 5 wounds Christ received on the cross, 2 hands, 2 feet and a spear in His side
I do not know why they did not count the crown of thorns as a wound?

because He did not receive it on the cross or because it was non-lethal?

Surely, the five-pointed star is most well-known as the Star of David, the Jewish symbol, isn't it?

Two faces I think; one on each side of it's head.

As I recall from history, you are correct.

If we follow our friends train of thought, we must all be pagans, as we have built our homes on land once trod by pagans; we must find a good supply of "Christian" ground, to replace all of that dirty pagan stuff.

The guy is an anti-orthodox troll; while it's fun to argue just so we can see just how absurd this thread can get; I doubt it's worth the effort.
